Transfer Deadline Day - 2/2/2015

SSN are desperate, even so they made a big announcement involving Accrington Stanley. Boom

What is your reasoning for this?

I feel like a contender benefits from adding players to the squad as long as that player is signed to solve a problem either for that particular season or for the future - take Manchester United for instance - we signed Rio in the 02/03 season,Heinze,Ronaldo and Saha in the 03/04 season,Rooney in the 04/05 season,Van der sar and park in the summer of 05/06 and signed Vidic and Evra in the january window of the 05/06 season - by the 06/07 season we had lost David Beckham,Nicky butt,Roy Keane and RVN but we somehow managed to have built a dominant team which would go on to win the next 3 titles and 1 UCL trophy amongst other trophies - with little additions over the course of 4 years and every single player mentioned being an integral part of at least 1 championship winning squad.

The same can be said for a team like Liverpool who bought Sturridge and Suarez in different January windows with hopes of finishing high those seasons and unknowingly put together the pieces to mount their title challenge last season.

Signing a vital player every window can help a team avoid a hectic rebuilding process.

The media love a good transfer window and now their getting all upset because no one's making any massive signings. They're talking about scraping the window or making it two days long on Talksport because it's bad for football apparently. Although I agree the January window is a farce, they're just trying to generate some talking points in what has been a dreary deadline day.

I hope this doesn't mean that they'll have a first refusal type deal on Mirallas if he is looking to leave and therefore we would like to sell him before his contract runs down. I'd hate if he moved within the PL.

Should have signed him when we had the chance, is the sort of winger we have history with at the club and the sort we currently lack.

didn't Fiorentina say they wouldn't accept below £40 million?, somehow he landed in Chelsea for £24million

Not really sure why Everton think this is a good idea

Really? I think it's a decent signing and means that we now have a set of wingers which can all challenge each other for a spot (Mirallas should be starting at every opportunity). It also means we don't have to be playing Barkley out wide which is horrid.

MASSIVE NEWS COMING OUT IF MANCHESTER: Wilfred Zaha to palace and Darren Fletcher gets in his car apparently heading to WBA!

This is what it's come to with $ky sports...

I've seen more exciting windows in igloos.
