Toni Kroos

There's no way we let him go, pretty sure we match crazy wages to keep him. If he really wants to go, fair enough, but he's just so perfectly suited to Guardiola's style of football that I really struggle to believe he wants to go at this point in his career.

Experts: just how good is Kroos?

He Kroos-es class.

On a more serious note, I think he's a quality footballer. I'd be amazed that Guardiola would allow him leave, mind. He was in great form up to the mid-season break. I also mentioned him back in the summer in the Kroos thread that he'd be their lynchpin under Pep.

This transfer would usurp any in our history if we pulled it off.

Sammer trying to get Kroos to sign. "Look Toni, you better sign a new deal fast or we may sell you to Moyes."

It surely won't happen.. But why would Sammer even say that?

Are you taking the piss? When did he say that? In his interview with Sky just before the match? Because I watched the whole coverage and he definately didn't even talk about us or Kroos.

I don't know, all our Bayern officials turn into massive idiots the moment they talk to the media. Sammer, Hoeness, Rummenigge, Beckenbauer, Breitner. Best not to listen, really.

These players always use our name when they want a new deal at Bayern. Top players don't leave Bayern anymore, that's if they ever did.

I've probably seen 3 games of his (total) but I can get behind this deal if it means the post-goal Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud is recycled at Old Trafford.

Unless his middle name is Ruud that's a shit idea.

Good to see Moyes target the likes of Fabregas, Mata and Kroos, even if Kroos will most likely not ever happen. Wonder what the hell was going through his head when he signed off on the Fellaini deal.

Watching the match and I see the cameras pan to Moyes left me wondering 'What's he doing there?'. Would be a great signing but do they really have a chance for him?

He's playing well tonight

United just being used to get a bigger contract again. Aiming high is all well and good, but this sounds like Fabregas again if United are seriously pursuing this guy.

Let's be honest here: Moyes doesn't need to make a personal check on Kroos (nor any of the Bayern players) if we were interested in him.

His presence tonight is related to Herrmann. If we're seriously considering Kroos, this scouting trip wasn't necessary.

No, it's always good to make your desire obvious to your target.

The van Persie/Welbeck debate before we signed the Dutchman was one of my favourite Caf' moments.

All-time classic.

I can't believe there were people who didn't want van persie. Admittedly I never jumped on the sneidjer train because of the likes of cleverley pogba and morrison, but van persie I was overly excited.

Kroos has the same skill set as Scholes. He's immense and I'd love him here. He's surely going to play deeper as his career progresses, much like Scholes.

Yeah, so have him next to a more solid Fletcher/Carrick/Fellaini/Vidal and we'll be good to go.

There's absolutely no chance of Kroos leaving Bayern.

He's the heir to Schweinsteiger's 'most German person in the Bayern team' throne. Previously held by Oliver Kahn.

They don't leave.
Manuel Neuer is more German than Kroos.

Have some faith.

Exactly. He's a lifer. More chance of going after Thiago again.

I just posted "Welcome to Man United" on all Mata and Kroos videos on youtube. This better be true!

His contract is up next year? Makes no sense that Bayern left it this late considering he's one of their most important players. Come on Moyes, do it and tempt the boy. Vidal can wait next summer
