I can see by the way Moyes is talking to the agent that he is talking about more than one player. Kroos now, Reus in the summer.

In the real world, I can definitely see us making a bid for Reus at some stage.

How the hell are we going to fit in all of these players. Surely signing Mata will have ended our pursiot of Reus no?

But if Rooney signs a new contract, then that's defunct no?

RVP is 31? Only a year left I'd say before he's being phased out slowly. Rooney, assuming he signs a new contract, would play up front with a back 3 of Reus, Mata and Januzaj.

Having said that, I don't think Rooney will sign a new deal and I also don't think we will go for Reus, and if we did then so would half of Europe and we'd need something to stand out. As for Kroos, another one I can't see. I know he's not first choice but he's one of those players I can't see away from Bayern at all

Kept Robben out of the starting eleven last season until he got injured and played in every single game this season in all competions, 27 starts in 30 games so far. Not sure what you mean with 'he's not first choice' ?

I knew took a risk with that line  I knew he could be but I decided I couldn't be bothered to actually check the stats and took a punt. So he's someone Guardiola sees as someone who will be part of the future Bayern's foundation (if he's not already)?

I'd say yes, he fits perfectly into Guardiola's idea of football. With all the injuries, it's tough to tell who Guardiola prefers, but it would be stupid if we didn't build the future around that young German core and there are no signs at all that suggest the club plans otherwise.

Rooney/RVP

Reus-Mata-Janujaz

Kroos-Vidal.

Tell me that doesnt get the Muppet juice following.

Its been widely reported that the club will run down Rooneys contract if he stalls. Moyes has now gone super bullish in the transfer market with the club indicating he has almost limitless funds available to him. Suddenly that odious c££££ Stretford shows up to renegotiate his contract after prevaricating all winter.

Two takes on this.

Rooney wants assurances that Manchester United mean business under Moyes and the signing of Mata and the rest have done this. Remember the last time? Or...

Rooney sees himself isolated, as Mata plays in his position, and then sold in the summer, most definately to Madrid. Something he doesnt want as he has no appetite to leave the UK and United will never sell him to a Premiership rival. Rooney and Stretford know this is his last big paycheck so are going for a mega deal at United. It won't happen.

This is smart business from Moyes as he will recoup a lot of money from his big spends. Both the president and the uber influential Ronaldo have both stated that they would love Rooney at Madrid, so take that as a given. Mata is a direct replacement for Rooney. Rooney to leave in the summer. I won't miss him because he believes he is bigger than the club. Great player but it is time to cash in.

There are a lot of rumours I hear from my mate who does the catering at the club, i admit its just gossip, and i do not for a second to be in the know but, I have always been told that Rooney and Evra have been a negative influence in the dressing room and Moyes wants them out. I'm really starting to like Moyes, he is just like Fergie. Thats why Fergie picked him and I think he was right.

Kroos has the same skill set as Scholes. He's immense and I'd love him here. He's surely going to play deeper as his career progresses, much like Scholes.
Surely not as good though? Scholes was a friggin genius.

Sascha Breese - Kroos' agent.

Despite all his supposed deficiencies, you gotta love his hands on approach! The Mata transfer is not only a huge boost for the players and the supporters, Moyes must be feeling great too.

Me too. Think Reus is our number one target for summer.

It should be a kick up the arses to the players. A lot of them are fighting for their futures here.

Doubt it, with Mata he is not needed just now. I am sure we put all our focus and money on a midfielder or two. Kroos would be a big signing no doubt but I am not sure if it will be possible to get him out of "his" club

Please say they were claiming all three were spotted together and shoved Kroos on the end of that photo?

Not sure if we really are his club. He came as a 16 year old from a small club in the North of Germany and really needed to be convinced to come back after his loan spell at Leverkusen. Pretty sure he wants to be successful in football, not necessarily successful at Bayern. Highly doubt he leaves though, he can be both right now.

He's at the best club right now and plays on a regular basis and will most likely do so in Brazil. But hey, I wouldn't mind if we got him

The club also should be willing to pay him sufficiently or want him badly enough. Bayern are absolutely loaded in midfield.
