Gaming Tom Clancy's - The Division | Division 2 announced

Does that not lead to the enemies flanking you when they recover? I'd been using the flame turret along with the wildfire talent. Throw it down on a new spawn and it can keep them all in one place while everyone pours on the specials and grenades. The shotgunners are the only ones it doesn't really work on.
I guess, but with the amount of enemies you get on challenges, you're always going to get flanked, though it is nice if you can keep them all in one spot. The real key is knowing where they're going to spawn next and hitting them as they come out of the door.

Yeah, the warrengate timed bit is easy enough if you activate one at a time like when we did it last night (though that dead destroy guy kept activating them all anyway...) as you know when and where they're coming from. Back left valve = left door at bottom of stairs etc.

Yeah. You have to have a balance though. Some groups will try to stay back on the balcony and pick them off from there. If you take too long, though, the timer runs out before you get through all three waves, so you have to get the shotgunners down and then rush the rest as a group.

The biggest PITA with Warrengate is the grenadiers, so you really can't stay too close together. It also helps to rush the snipers early. It's definitely best to split into pairs, as we were doing last night.

The other nice thing about the gas seekers is that they will run round the room gassing everyone, which helps out your team-mates that may be under pressure.

I actually just tried it on the daily challenging. It is quite good, until they started hacking it and sending it back. Rude bastards.

I'm not sure what's going on, but my primary DPS just dropped from 125k to 117k without me changing anything.

Got to level 30 last night and finally got into the daily challenges and got 2 pieces of High end hardware.
Doing missions on the challenge level is hard as feck but with 4 level 30 guys man is it exciting!

I am seriously loving this game.

Yeah, the hackers are a nightmare.

What did you drop to accommodate the gas seeker? Turret? I imagine that skills are also factored into your DPS calculation.

I had the turret and talents back on when I noticed it dropped. Rebooting the game sorted it out.

My last 4 gold drops have all been vests. If it keeps at it I'll be able to open a vest emporium.

Cool. I'll be on about half-nine.
Cool just tag me in here when you're on and I'll come on.

http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1424068-Changelog-April-1-2016-Maintenance

Here is the list of changes implemented during the maintenance of Friday, April 1, 2016:

  • Madison Field Hospital: The Elite NPC that spawns when Hutch is killed before jumping down from the roof will no longer drop additional loot when killed repeatedly
  • Missions: Named NPCs killed from outside the mission area will no longer drop additional loot when killed repeatedly
  • Fixed issues which could allow groups to bypass the limit of four members

https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/4crd9o/incursions_live_stream_updates/

1 - When at Max level gear no longer has levels and is replaced with gear scores.

2 - There are 4 sets that are going to be introduced which are going to be attainable by doing challenges, the actual incursions, dark zone, and buying blueprints.

3 - All 4 are specific builds for either marksman, support, etc.

4 - Trading in dark zone can be done in the safe zone with your group due to the craziness it might cause if done in the dark zone. Also if another player does take your trade drop in the dark zone you can still kill them and get your gear back.

5 - Daily assignments and weekly assignments will give PXC, some divison tech, and good rewards in general. They're are themes as well which can be dark zone based or even crafting based. Plus you can do assignments and dailes(current) together as essentially kill two birds with 1 stone.

6 - Supply drops are dropped every hour with good loot but random location drops and it will be first come first served but if a group goes they all get loot plus they are "protected" by hard enemies. They are also added to your inventory immediately they are not contaminated.

7 - Confirmed while "dead" that the camera is boring. So they will allow you to look around all over the map.

8 - April 12th is the update release date and it should be including all of the above.

9 - When doing incursions (I'm also going to assume in groups in general aka matchmaking) the gear scores show next to your teammates names.

10 - There is a new "leader" of the LMB that we are sent to surgically remove. Named Perez, also A lot of explosions confirmed.

11 - Incursions has two modes, Hard mode is very tough and they recommend you have level 31(current) to play hard mode. For challenge mode will be recommend with the new gear sets and will be very challenging.

12 - Not really an update type of news but the incursions are EXTEMELY team oriented. It would be beyond difficult(the developers said) to run whatever you want and think you can beat the incursions.

13 - Incursions can be match maked and they show recommend gear scores but they will not match you up with those with specific players with gear scores.

14 - Incursions rewards can give NEW high weapons and gear sets(all they said so far).

15 - Every single time you do incursions you will get a good reward but you will get a better reward once weekly.

16 - There are MORE incursions in the future and they will have different mechanics and the developers have played them so stay tuned for that in the later future.

17 - Some of the new gears pieces are Activity locked as in some gear pieces can only be attained by doing certain things like dark zone or challenging more or incursions.

18 - The new gear is not going to make the current gear obsolete they will all depend on your preference.

19 - The 500 slot backpack is a dev thing lol it will not be available. I know my loot hording brothers I know.

So they can be done more than once a week with rewards but can get a better reward once per week.

Spent 10 minutes doing the Grand Central Station on hard for the daily challenge, got a high end lightweight M4 :D

Spent an hour and half getting killed on Russian consulate to get absolutely nothing

I wonder how this will work.
Do you get the reward at the end of every set week?
Because if you do the mission on monday and not for the rest of the week, the loot you get would be the loot you get...

I'd imagine there will be a 'weekly reset' time and you'll get the good reward the first time you complete it after that point. After that, you'll just get the normal reward.

fecking hard enough getting a good group to complete Russian Consulate. Going to be impossible to run Incursions through matchmaking.

Did Russian Consulate in 2 hours on challenging yesterday, was good fun.

Aside from some of the tougher challenging missions I'm pretty bored of the game now.

Same, not been on it for a few days. I got most of the blueprints i wanted, and running challenges were landing me with the same gear.

Hopefully incursions will be enough to an end game expansion to tide me over till the next update.

How many other level 30s here are on PS4? I reckon it's gonna be nearly impossible to complete incursions with randoms using matchmaking.

Quite enjoying taking this game at a reasonable pace (2-5 hours 5 days a week or so)

Level 24 and DZ Level 30 or so. Not stepped foot in DZ05 yet and still got 3 or 4 sections of the map not even explored. 4 or 5 of the lads in work are all the same level so cruising through at a steady pace. In days gone by I'd have been pissed about lagging behind but as the PVP at this stage at least is tiered it means I can level kids in the DZ no matter what. I imagine the big difference will come in when I hit level 30?

*Cough cough*
oops

Yeah, some bastards on a manhunt constantly destroyed Brocky, paulscholes and I last night

1 for lincoln tuunnel challenging?

Get an M44 with explosive rounds and have some fun with um.

So ive just hit level 30, where do i start getting the smexy lewts, so i can do the challenging encounters and darkzone pvp?

Been level 30 for 45 minutes and got some High End Spec Ops Gloves. Made up. We'd been underground hitting some chests up and a manhunt group destroyed us but left the loot. When we went back to pick it up there was a named Elite, killed him and he dropped 2 purple and a gold.

Mixed bags on the stats but first HE under my belt..

Stats:

406 ARM
+481 Electronics

Talents:

Savage (active) - Critical Hit Chance is increased by 13% against targets out of cover.

Majors:

+1,801 Marksman Damage
+11% Health on Kill
+5.50% Critical Hit Chance

Minor:

+3% Ballistic Shield Damage

From our DZ excursion im sat on 9 Phoenix credits but I need 31 to recalibrate? Not even sure I will use these at the minute.

Does go well with my Superior M1A I got off the same enemy with two active talents (Armor destruction and Chance of applying On Fire status affect) and +156% Headshot Damage

Had a right nightmare this morning doing that Lexington mission on challenge.

First time round, got to the lift on the roof to go back in the building and got some delta error
Second time round, got in the same lift and somehow fell out the back of it and was just stuck so I had to leave
Then got in a team but the mission wouldn't start....
joined a few teams that kept dying right at the beginning
Finally did it after 2 hours of trying....

Just noticed you can switch in +ammo capacity gear when you restock and the ammo stays when you switch back. Don't have to bother with that stat on your vest/backpack then.

Picked up the Midas this morning from Sparrow.
Base DPS with no attachments does about 61k, whereas my Vector does 57k. With attachments though, the vector gets up to 99k, whereas the Midas gets to 92k.

Decisions decisions. Both have that talent that gets 3% health on critical hits, but apparently that talent has been disabled? (Different perk apparently. I'll have to look into this self preserved perk as I don't notice my life go up to be honest0
