Gaming Tom Clancy's - The Division | Division 2 announced

Pre-ordered the Gold Edition last night from the PS Store. Saves a lot of hassle, which is worth the extra outlay for me.

Eh, I prefer digital for laziness. Just can't be doing with switching discs and stuff.
I'm usually the same. The last hard copy I bought was MGSV and that's still in the machine, despite having not played it since I got 100% months ago, so it's rare I need to change discs.

£20 difference, though?! Sony can suck my dingaling, tbh.

For those getting this from the PSN store - I posted this in the PS$ thread:

For those that buy from the PSN Store - good deal to take advantage of:

"Basically its f***ing brilliant" videogamer.com

Laughed too much at that bit. Doesn't look marvellous graphically or even the character movement, but I am expecting some fecking brilliant gameplay. Any idea how long the first installment of it is going to be?

Might be a stupid question, but is anyone here playing this on Xbox? I might pick it up.

March 8th is when it releases worldwide, but obviously Australia will be March 8th around 12 hours earlier.
Right but, up until now, the release date has been billed as March 8th. My order is being shipped on March 8th, unless Amazon are going to now ship on the 7th.

FAQ: Time of the servers going up does not equal the time of launch though. Yes it does. Since it’s impossible for us to populate the servers in a way that would adequately replicate playing The Division on launch day, reviewers will start playing the game along with everyone else when it’s released on March 8 – after the servers go live officially at 00:01AM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). So they unlock the game worldwide as soon as it is the 8th anywhere on the planet. (Meaning Austrialia, since they're the first to start every new day.)

When can I start playing the game if I’ve purchased a digital copy?

  • Xbox One - The game will be available March 8 at 00.01am local time in each country timezone (00:01 EST time for the USA and Canada)

  • PlayStation 4 - The game will be available March 8 at 00.01am local time in each country timezone (00:01 EST time for the USA and Canada) - except Japan where it will be available on March 10 at 00.001 AM

  • PC – The game will be available from March 8 at 6:01am CET (00.01am EST) for both Steam, Uplay

So there's no servers in for ps4 pre-Australia reaching 8th March?
