Pretty confident that we'll be getting him. In the 2021 transfer window.
Nope, 3 attackers is more than enough. 4 would be complete overkill and ruin the balance of the team. 3 in midfield is necessary to give balance.A team can play with 4 attacking players. In many cases it would do so if all of them are in top 10.
As I said, I think that Muller is comparable to them. Just because he isn't flashy enough, doesn't make him worse than them. Compare stats, how good the team is with and without him (compared to Suarez/Neymar), trophies, ppg with or without any of them, performances in big matches, Muller is comparable, if not better.
I'd take muller over suarez and neymar fwiw.
If I had to choose to sign a player for United (who isn't called Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar) then Muller would be my choice.
It won't happen though. But he is really a fantastic player and one of my favorite players. Would absolutely love to see him here.
Get Reus and Hummels while were at it too, bring in the GermansWhether it's Muller I wouldn't like to say but my guess is that we will be signing another established German in this window. LVG will know that for all the footballing nous Schweiny will bring he will be a lost soul off the pitch. Little can prepare you for a huge lifestyle change and my guess is that LVG will be wary about this signing a player at 31 who has spent in his entire career in his homeland.
I think signing Schweiny enhances our chances of nabbing Muller. Muller too would be buoyed by the fact that another German is in place.
Kroos, Lahm and Gündogan whilst we're at itGet Reus and Hummels while were at it too, bring in the Germans
Was comparing him only with Suarez and Neymar. Obviously, Messi is on a different level.Nope, 3 attackers is more than enough. 4 would be complete overkill and ruin the balance of the team. 3 in midfield is necessary to give balance.
And no he's not comparable. It's not about being flashy. Muller isn't going to beat a man or two and curl one into the top corner like Messi and Neymar can from out wide. He's not fast enough he's not gifted enough. What he is, is a terrific player with a good all round game, but neither as could he displace Suarez who is a better centre forward, and obviously he's not going to get ahead of Messi and Neymar as a wide forward who are the best in the game.
Muller scored in the season before this 27 goals. In the last 6 seasons, only once he couldn't score 19 goals or more.On a purely footballing level, only if you're absolutely deranged. Suarez scored 30 goals a season twice, for Liverpool and Neymar just got 39 goals in 51 games.
And hence he wouldn't play ahead of them. Neymar got 40 plus goals this season plus you really need to be a dribbler to play as a wide forward in that team. Muller obviously isn't the centre forward Suarez is so I don't see the case for him getting in.Muller scored in the season before this 27 goals. In the last 6 seasons, only once he couldn't score 19 goals or more.
What is important to be mentioned is that he isn't a striker like Neymar or Suarez.
But, but, but....believe in the Schmeichel!Bayern are definitely not selling two established German players (fan favourites) to us in one window.
Or they really want Di Maria and are willing to give us Muller in return?Only way this happens is if Pep has an agreement to take over here from Van Gaal and he slowly sells us their best players. Otherwise this transfer is literally impossible.
Pep might want it. But unless Bayern is counting on Pep to be their manager for the next 5 years, they will overrule him.Or they really want Di Maria and are willing to give us Muller in return?
boris Becker on the coaching staff and nena singing 99 red balloons at half time as well !!Kroos, Lahm and Gündogan whilst we're at it
Maybe Muller and Schweinsteiger are the old-guard obstacles that Pep needs to move on as they have too much influence in a dressing room he's attempting to re-shape.

Oh well, next year then

I never said United shouldn't sign him, first off. I'd be thrilled if United bought him but to say he's far better than Cavani is laughable. He's nowhere near proven enough. Never kitted up in the Champions League and only turned out twice for England. I like Kane's potential but that's all he is right now; potential. He could be great. He could fizzle out.Kane is 21ffs. You can't be serious in saying we shouldn't sign a 21 year old because he hasn't had 4 seasons with 30+ goals.
no less than 45 appearances for Bayern every season since vG's 09-10Honest question, because I don't follow Bundesliga regularly. Is Muller a regular first 11 starter for Bayern?
