First WWE I've watched in a while and that's how it ended. They are complete fecking idiots. Sure have Ellsworth help Carmella win but she should be the one to actually take down the briefcase.

The funny thing is the refs are debating and .... Ellsworth just comes and announces it and the refs are like... OK yeah sure. Whilst Shane is backstage watching this thinking.

They did that finish so that Daniel Bryan has something to talk about on SD live upon his return.

Ill be very very surprised if Carmella doesnt cash in tonight now. TBH im kinda happy Carmella won, shes come a looong way since her NXT days. But kinda wish they did it differently.

None of this makes sense. Why wouldnt Carmella attack Naomi during the submission, cause the DQ, shes hurt and vulnerable and cash in.
It basically nullifies Daniel Bryan SD live announcement.

WWE normally means you gotta suspend logic but even for their standards...

Like the ending of the Women's MITB. The fact that you've all got so mad, means it worked. Now they've turned Charlotte face, they need a heel with some actual heat.

It would be the case if we all hated Carmella as a villain. I dont think thats the case this time.

Said the same while ago.

Good grief that ppv was dreadful and almost offensively bad.
  • First ever Womens MiTB and it wins with a man climbing the ladder and throwing the briefcase to Carmella?? Wow way to big up the Womans revolution.
  • Cheap count-out finish in the second match after already pissing the crowd off in the opening match.
  • Lana/Naomi ending was a mess. Carmellas fake cash in was a least somewhat entertaining.
  • Jinder beating Orton the exact same way as last time they wrestled.
  • Corbin winning MiTb which was predictable as feck considering he hasn't won a match in months. Plus he sucks. Even AJ/Nakamuras face off couldn't save it. WWE has overdone Zayn/Owens so much that it doesn't have the same impact anymore when they cost each other matches/titles/etc.
Dreadful muck, and its been a while since Ive said that about a ppv.

It's like WWE are trying to push it with how bad they can make their product, Like WCW did towards the end. It's a good job there isn't any proper US based competitors for the WWE because if there was they would be in big trouble.
 
Looks like I made the right decision to not watch.

Jinder and Orton in a championship feud, Corbin the MITB holder, Cena coming back....things are not looking good for Smackdown. A damn shame when they have the best in the world AJ Styles (now that Bryan's retired), a nice tag team division, Sami, Nakamura and Owens on the show.

I wish they could just sweep all the trash (Jinder, Cena, Orton) to RAW with Reigns and give Smackdown Joe, Lesnar and Wyatt. Then I might be able to stomach a show.

How is Cena coming back not good for Smackdown?
 
I'm not sour on Baron Corbin winning as much as others seem to be. Though if he's gurenteed to be champion then it is a problem. Didn't watch anything other than the two MITB matches because why would you.

His character sucks but he can put on a match, he must have been in 4-5 match of the year contenders last year.

The era of 'super Cena' is also over, he loses as much as he wins these days.
