Lesnar still looks like a monster. Reigns and Rollins both come out as winners. Did not expect that.
Perfect booking...brilliant Mania.

Orton, Reigns and Brock all have a case to go after Reigns now. Its brilliant, as Reigns can have the build and story he deserves going for the title. Rollins was the real MVP of last year, and deserves the title. He could be the fantastic heel champion that WWE needs with faces chasing him for it.

Also I want to see Brock vs Orton one on one.

Cant wait for Raw and agreed, that WM achieved quite a bit as it allows them to go with a few good storylines going forward.
Orton deserves a title show. Reigns got screwed over after taking nearly everything Brock had and not losing cos of him. Brock didnt lose the title at all.
IC champ is Bryan, which goes with the whole best wrestler story. Everybody in the ladder match has a case for wanting the title (BNB probably first as he gets a rematch).
Cena is US champ and I dont see him losing it anytime soon and Rusev, after his first loss, where does he go now especially with Lana looking to be out now.
Bray lost, again, at WM. Where does he go? (Although not sure thats a good thing for him).
Paige and AJ both have a claim to go for the divas title (AJ moreso as she just beat Nikki).
Tag titles match was a good showcase and I hope gets more focus. Would like to see Lucha Dragons come up now.

This post shows how well this show was booked that there is so many possible routes they could go.

I'm off to bed, but one final thing...Fecking Roman Reigns showed up tonight like a superstar. He and Lesnar were stiff as feck and he played his character fantastically. For all the shit he got the last 8 weeks or so, he delivered tonight, fair fecks to him.

Next years Mania we will likely see Undertaker V Sting and Rock v HHH, and I wouldn't mind betting it will be the final match for at least three of them. I think it will be a huge occasion and build up and a great final nail in the coffin for the Attitude era in my opinion. They should throw Stone Cold in as guest referee for the Rock/HHH match.

It was a great Wrestlemania, best one for a while. Had a nice mix and matches I was expecting to be dire turned out great. I stopped following WWE properly a while ago pretty much just after Benoit killed his family. I'd look in every so often to keep up but mostly got my wrestling kicks from Japan. I still watch Mania but not live. I'm full of a cold at the moment and struggling to sleep, no work today so thought it would be great to watch it live again. Over recent years I've seen them trying to bring in new faces but never been really impressed. CM Punk never did it for me. He was and is (and with him now plying his trade in NXT I hope you're all starting to see it) a slo-mo Kenta. Anyway whilst I was looking forward to it my expectations were low. All I can say is I'm highly impressed and I think the current roster is the strongest I've seen for a long time. It very much reminds me of the early 90's a great mix of faces and talent enough to deliver some great matches.

Main event: Best match of the night. Rollins is a great talent and one they've now given a chance to forefront the company. I've seen a bit of him over the last year and always been impressed. He is the closest thing to a modern Shawn Michaels they have. They now have a champion that can work on all levels and deliver a great match. Having Brock just constantly beat everyone to a pulp only working once every 2 months is not good for the business. I was also very impressed with Reigns. Even though it was practically a squash match his power work looked stiff and I happily believed he could hurt Brock. Brock is great but it's a bit of the Andre the Giant syndrome. He's the current ultimate monster you bring in, a mountain for the other wrestlers to climb. With Heyman doing most of the work weekly, maybe the new deal means we'll get to see more of him over the coming months. I kind of hope they put him on the back burner for a while and let the new guys take over for a bit before bringing him back in for ultimate effect. When you have wreckers or monsters they always work best in the climb to the top then with a small stint at the top, before it starts to get dull. Lets leave it to the new generation to entertain us week in week out. A generation I have full faith in. Anyway the match was great and the fact everyone seemed to hate the inevitable feeling that Reigns was forcibly being pushed onto us brought in that dread that everyone was expecting his inevitable win, allowed them to throw a fantastic curve ball with Rollins. I was expecting the money in the bank to be cashed tonight but thought they'd have done it after a Reigns win which would have pretty much destroyed Brocks career. I guess that could have worked had he signed with UFC. Anyway everyone left the match standing tall with their character reps still intact. Anyway great work from all those involved, especially Reigns.

Undertaker Wyatt was the match I was least looking forward too but again I was very impressed. I do hope though they make next Wrestlemania his last working match. Story telling is still there but the ability is definitely fading. Loved Wyatts Scarecrows and if he was performing with an injury all the more credit to him. Think it showed when he was doing some simple kicks to the Undertaker in the corner. Anyway much better than expected.

The Ronda/Rock promo thing just went on for far too long. It had all that was bad about the supposed glory years of the late 90's but that's something I will get into later.

Cena-Rusev I loved. Cena is and has been a fantastic performer for years. A good solid Mr reliable. People may not like him but as a wrestler he's someone I really respect. You think of all the years of service he's given and he has delivered some brilliant matches, Always done what was asked. Anyway everyone was going on about the time machine for Sting/HHH. This one was even better. Like going back to the 80's. Rusev is really impressive. A wrestling crusher the likes we've not seen for a while. He successfully brings that old school style and it looks really fresh. Powerful, stiff and able to make holds like the camel clutch look really painful. None of this he does though with that old school pondering style. He's dynamic and fast. A really great talent. They should do a king of the ring with him winning. His entrance was the best of the night. We watched a USSR entrance with a frigging tank. Cenas second rope stunner was also a highlight. The whole match was a brilliant grudge undercard.

Divas Tag team. I'm going to say it, I hate the Divas, always have. Yet this was actually pretty good. I thought they all had hardly any talent and Paige the brit was the weakest link but it was surprisingly an enjoyable match. I just wish with these matches the commentators would pay it some respect instead of using it as a chance to talk about whats coming up and whats happened mixed with the odd Jerry the king ooop sounds anytime the girls get closely entangled with a view of their ass in shot. An OK match.

Sting-HHH. A wasted opportunity. I was really into it. I thought the entrances were ace (Though the Terminators should have moved) and the match was going on great. When they brought in DX-NWO though I marked out like everyone else but it ruined the whole thing for me in the end. I'd have rather it carried on the way it was going. Turning it into a metaphor for the Monday night wars and it became farcical. Shame that the highlight ended up being Nash selling a quad but seeing Hall even able to move and selling and bumping was brilliant. Don't forget this guy is in worse condition than Hogan.

Orton- Rollins. Brillliant match and a brilliant finish. Another reason for Rollins to be the entertainer taking it forward. What they do with Randy after this though I have no idea. Worth it just for the stomp into the vaulted RKO. This would normally be the strong undercard/intercontinental match.

7 man ladder match. Whilst the bumps were there and impressive, and Bryans win plus the backstage past intercontinental champions promo will hopefully return this belt to it's previous glory, this was for me the worst match of the night. When you get this many in a ladder match without the cohesion of a tag team situation i just becomes a confusing mess, which is a real shame as they all put in a lot of good work.

The rumble and tag team didn't see.

So overall the best Wrestlemania in years. A brilliant roster with the older hands and newer talent making a nice mixup. They now have the ability to really give us the greatest year for a long time. An immensely strong mid card and great headliners. They also have enough talent to really do something with the tag teams as well now.

Right onto people complaining about it not being wrestling and Stone cold etc. It's like Glastonbury, you may not like the newer acts but to claim it's not Glastonbury or wrestling because it's not the time or acts when you enjoyed it is idiocy. You don't culturally own it and your now an old git and your taste in music sucks. Get over yourself. This new breed is very impressive as they do something that is all important in these mega events and that's perform and tell stories in the ring. Thats what pro wrestling is. Promos are fine for the weekly TV events to tell a longer story arc but when you get down to it, you have to impress in the ring. The supposed glory years of the Rock, Stone Cold, HHH etc showed it's ugly head tonight. The whole Ronda Rock promo that was like pulling teeth. There, that was your glory years. Back in the 90's a lot of wrestling fan used to say Raw is War etc wasn't really wrestlng as it no longer was even trying to be a sport but instead was in full on soap opera mode with people spending forever talking and not doing much. I loved the abilities of the guys back then but when you'd watch a Raw and the final hour was taking up with 45 minutes of talking it was taking the piss. We always get some form of guest special thing at Wrestlemania but that just went on forever and became really boring very fast. There it was the Attitude, Raw is War played out right in front of you and it was the worst thing of the whole night. Don't worry to much, the generation that complained about Raw were also complained about because their wrestlers ( Hogan/Andre years) was to much of comic book that didn't represent the sport and so on yadda yadda yadda. Each generation complaining about the next. Face it @rednev You're a grumpy old git. May as well get the pipe and slippers on and start complaining how the music these youths listen to is nothing but noise grandpa.

A brilliant Wrestlemania that has now got me interested in watching WWE again.

Didn't mind that Wrestlemania. Loved the fact that Rollins left with the title! The main-event was really, really well done I thought.

Wooooooooooooow

I have to give credit where its due and WWE really out did themselves they managed to turn around the shit that was the build up to WM and turn it to something special. I just finished watching and even though Rondas involvement and Rollins winning were spoiled for me I was still thrilled. The actual wrestling on the show wasnt breath taking but the story telling was superb, other than HHH going over Sting i'm happy with the whole show. I'm so happy for Seth he deserves it and has earned the title with his work in the ring. Brock looked incredible and wasnt weakened by losing the title and even Reigns got put down gently.

All in all WM was fecking brilliant. That makes it two great years in a row.

Well......... is anyone going to say it?

Reigns didn't hurt his reputation last night, to the point in which his boo's largely subsided. (That in itself is significant considering last night's initial response).

Looked a million bucks, looked very strong.....

He'll organically develop from here.

This should be a significant moment for Reigns character development. Comes out currently looking quite well despite taking a shit kicking.

Suplex city, bitch.

Got together and watched this with some mates last night for a laugh, as we usually do. Don't take it too seriously, but it's fun to see all the big names from my childhood and everything.

Anyway, the first ladder match was pretty poor. It had some nice stunts, but too much of people standing with a ladder and clear access to the championship above them that someone miraculously stops them from getting until the guy who's scripted to win does.

Randy Orton's match was entertaining. Always good to see an RKO or two.

Triple H's match was entertaining as well. Felt like a pensioners convention at the end though, and the whole handshake was a bit daft.

Cena's match was essentially against a ridiculously stereotypical Russian, with a shocking amount of pro-American propaganda to the point where I was hoping the Russian stereotype would win despite Cena being a favourite of mine about 10 years ago.

The Rock and Triple H's whole thing could have been good, if it wasn't for the fact that The Rock kept on looking like he'd forgotten his lines. It was all too drawn out to the point where by the end of it, I really just wanted them to leave the stage.

The Undertaker's still a badass. Entrance didn't suit the light, and it's not the same without his whole streak, but it was still a decent match. Other guy was quite creepy.

Last match was good. It felt fairly real since it was basically Lesnar kicking the shit out of someone, but the twist was decent. Not the sort of thing they'd usually do since I always remember Wrestlemania ending with the good guy on top, but fair play to them for trying something different.

Good laugh overall.

I'm still scratching my head as to how some of you think Regins was made look good?

It will set up a feud between Rollins and Reigns. Guess what Reigns will still not be the fan favourite in that feud either

All the people complaining about the Rock segment, wasn't it put together to play out a bit of time because Wyatt hurt himself? If so then it's entirely normal that it was drawn out.

Also I really hope Lesnar goes into a feud with Rusev. I would love to see the physicality in that match up. The Lana vs Heyman promos would be awesome too.

I always wondered what this thread was about but never opened it 'til now.

I think I last watched wrestling when Wrestle Mania was outside at Caesars Palace in Vegas and Doink had a body double under the ring.

That would make no sense, since nothing was cut from the match and instead the pre match video package was pulled. It was just typical self indulgent Dwayne being a boring fecker making it all about himself.

Normal? Perhaps. Good? No. Just mostly made everyone look like they forgot what they were supposed to say/do. Would have been much better condensed into 5-10 minutes.

Surprised they didn't switch the whole thing and send the Rock out first, he could have freestyled a far more entertaining but for 10-15 minutes on his own, before having HHH and Steph come in and argue with him.

Reigns just went toe to toe with one of the most dominating heavyweight champion's they've built. He took an absolute mauling, about 30 fecking different suplexes and FOUR F5's and yet it still took Rollins cashing in MITB for him to lose.

Ultimately both Lesnar and Reigns came out looking fantastic while Rollins came out as a classic heel champion. Fair play to the WWE, they booked this close to perfect and they've actually set themselves up brilliant with the amount of challengers for Rollins. Orton and Ambrose both have wins over him and then there's Lesnar and Reigns. There's still that Orton/Heyman moment too which could come into play. Really interested to see where they go from here.

Opener was good but for me fell short of what it could and should have been. Bryan having his moment made up for the match just being good, great moment.

Was legit shocked that Triple H went over Sting. I actually enjoyed the match overall. Sting in his first and possibly only match in WWE history and he loses? Shocked me.

Divas match was sloppy and they're all better than this. Was a massive fan of AJ but her ring work really isn't delivering recently. The Bella's take a whole lot of shit but they've been working better in the ring than AJ has for a while now.

Said it a while back and I'll say it again, Rusev is outstanding. Fantastic character and great worker. Cena rarely fails to deliver when it matters too. Thought this match was great from start to finish. Hope this isn't the end of Lana for a while though :(

Wanted Wyatt to go over personally but expected The Undertaker would.

Main Event was fantastic.

Overall, really good show. The Rousey moment was awesome, just think they let it go on a few minutes more than it should and stalled a bit too much at times (in fairness I'd put that down to The Rock).

Oh Randall. That's as strong as you get to look against Brock. I don't think anyone thinks he'll be a fan favourite, but there's more room for it to happen now.

Reigns 2nd chance year long build starts agains soon by the way. Why he deserves it so quick after failing the first time I don't know.

Seth Rollins said 'Thank you very much' to Roman as he pinned him. Quite nice :)

No it was put together to do the whole here's a celeb at Wrestlemania thing. They drew it out to such a long time to cover for the injury.

If it was covering for the injury when I can completely understand why it was dragged out. Otherwise you condense it down and then still have to fill some time.

Regardless of reasons(and however understandable they may be) though, doesn't mean people have to enjoy it, it wasn't a good segment.

'This thing hasn't happened yet, but I'm already outraged at how soon it is'

It started last night.....just whether they give a slight break on the ME while Rollins and Orton go at it or Rollins and Brock...oh maybe a Four Way at the next PPV, which would again, put less pressure on him and they can hide his flaws. I don't see how getting a borking really made him look good. They laying down for the curbstomp. Glad the strap isn't on him.

If you don't think Roman did a fantastic job last night you're straight up delusional.

He did an even better job in that role than Cena did, and Cena was rightly praised to high heavens for his work.

First WM I've missed live since I was 12. Is it worth a watch or do the results just say what I need to know?
