That Bryan vs Cena match was brilliant, not sure if they had a real feud as it's all I've seen between them. Near Punk-Cena levels of excellence. Give him a ring general, and Cena is happy to listen and let them take the lead for him to have an excellent match AND puts them over if he's booked to do so in a respectful manner. Pretty much a hero, still should go heel though...just had to throw the old cliche out there.

Yeah they have. Cina and Bryan actually "wrestled" as well. Cina did it to prove a point and prove he can wrestle. Although it wasn't ever a proper bad blood feud. Cina has been dropping some great moves in his matches for ages. The Stunner from the ropes last night is a perfect example. Haters won't ever agree though, despite many saying his matches have been excellent in most recent PPV shows. The same as his work rate is usually ignored.
Never knew @Cina was a wrestler.

Has nothing to do with sympathy but rather putting the belt on Reigns would have had disasterous implications.

Reigns has either received tepid crowd response or boos for his current run which for the future face of the company is never a good thing.

Reigns needs a heel turn to increase his popularity and he needs more time to practice his promos and hopefully get better material from the Writers.
Disagree with the first bolded part.

Agree with the second.

Oh and how feckin' awesome was Rusev's entrance? He came on a sodding tank... A TANK. The man is a winner even when he loses.

Wasn't it just.

One last moan from me, I honestly did enjoy the show even thought it probably doesn't sound like it

But JBL. On commentary is so bad. Especially in the Sting match

I think they should keep the straps on cena and Bryan for a long time to make those titles seem important. Then perhaps unify them

Has cena ever had a feud with Bryan before?

Well clearly Vince is feeding JBL the lines. It's quite clear Vince is the one putting down WCW.

I used to like JBL on commentary when he first started in 2006. I blame Vince for why he is so bad currently. The king and Booker T are far worse though.

He needs better move combinations as well. His repertoire is limited.
Agreed. It's hard to say if Reigns has the necessary charisma to be the #1 guy, so far his promos have been poor, but part of it has been a miscast of role and poor writing.

Reigns needs a bigger move set and he needs to work on his gas tank as the top guy needs to be able to more than 5 minutes without sucking air.

I don't see how Reigns can be a marketable face without a heel turn first. The crowd either doesn't care or boos him. He's being packaged as if he doesn't give an F about what people think or that he even gives a rat's ass about people.

Granted face and heel don't have the same meaning as people cheer Ambrose as the crazy independent nut job, but boo Cena the over the top positive guy.

I think Reigns would be a great heel which could build his popularity for an eventual heel turn.

I agree with the bolded. He'd be a brilliant heel and crowds these days seem to cheer the heel more than the face anyway, like you said.

Your first paragraph, I've said a few times, albeit not directly at you, how Reigns could easily become a face from here.
  • Make Rollins even more chummy with the Authority, instantly makes him more disliked. Fans appreciate him and what he does, but they'll boo him if Steph and HHH endorse him and help him get a few dirty defences.
  • Make Reigns the guy that goes against the Authority. Handicap matches v Show and Kane, few interferences from J&J. Couple of dirty losses to Authority members. This is the tricky part though, as it has potential to turn Reigns into Cena MKII. Don't make him the indestructible hero, make him vulnerable, relatable and real.
  • Have Reigns V Rollins at Summerslam. Maybe he loses, maybe it builds towards WM32.

I can suspend my disbelief with Brock but I dunno, Rousey taking on a Diva/Stephanie would be just silly.

She beats the shite out of other legit female fighters in a few seconds.

The WWE Network is pretty cool I'm really enjoying the 'Monday Night Wars' series about the old WWE vs WCW days.

Most cringeworthy moment in history was when Scott Hall and Kevin Nash left for WCW but the WWE decided to continue on with the Razor Ramon and Diesel characters with different wrestlers......sooooo bad.

I think you could have it where Ronda defeats her in seconds, and have the majority of it be about Steph trying to escape.

RAW's 1am tonight, isn't it?

It is indeed.

Correct @Earthquake

Network has 1.3 subscribers. 77% of those from the free Feb deal translated to March payments, but both of those could (most likely is) due to WM. Will be interesting to see the numbers after WM.

For instance, I cancelled my subscription today (which ends April 1st). I love the content, and will probably reactivate my account down the line (once I work out what im going to do with Sky and such). Right now I think I only have Sky Sports for instance due to football (and NFL).
Given work and how much I watch other shows, I really wish the network was available during my uni days. (Or I was still at Uni right now).

Didnt have an issue with the network at all. Plus with NXT having monthly special PPVs now, its well worth the price. Looking forward to the original content now.

Cancelled mine today as well

I think for any regular fan it is great

Next years Mania we will likely see Undertaker V Sting and Rock v HHH, and I wouldn't mind betting it will be the final match for at least three of them. I think it will be a huge occasion and build up and a great final nail in the coffin for the Attitude era in my opinion. They should throw Stone Cold in as guest referee for the Rock/HHH match.

Austin/Rock/HHH in the triple threat that didn't happen when rikishi fecking ran big Steve over. With Taker and sting probably finishing up next year it'll be a proper send off to the attitude era.

I love WWE because I know their thinking. Won over £70 from a £1 bet predicting the winners.
Congratulations.

I should have known better. I thought egomania wouldn't strike. Vince McMahon's ego is unreal, you could just tell that he wanted this to be a WWE vs WCW war. Some of the things that happened during and after the match were hilarious. To name a few: HHH beating Sting, DX establishing their dominance over the nWo, Sting shaking HHH's hand proving that he is inferior, and JBL's "We won again" line. All ridiculous. This should have been Sting's moment, but it was ruined by nonsense.

Balor should be on tonight, Neville too.

Watching the Pre-show to Raw. Crowd doesn't sound too hot. Not a proper post-WM Raw..... at least not from the pre-Show anyway with minutes to go.

Balor shouldnt be called up at all, Neville should be though.

Brock looks ready to fight :D
