Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

I didn't understand what the Hell was going on. Back in the good old days, somebody might have popped out from under the ring to deck one of the wrestlers so that his opponent could win...but steal the match with some cheesy 'money in the bank' briefcase?

It's shit, IMO.

Money in the bank is great, its been around for almost a decade because it works. Some amazing cash in moments have come from it and some career highlights too.

Reigns V Rollins @ Summerslam.

Whatever the crowd feels for Reigns, I feel for him. Won the rumble and still had to prove himself, does it v Bryan and then Seth cashes in. Was the right move imo. Although with Lesnar signed on for 3 years, they can't take him out of the title picture.

Maybe with Reigns getting 'screwed' theyre trying to get the sympathy vote for him?

Brock didn't get pinned so he doesn't lose any of the invincibility surrounding him. He'll be champ again once he turns face.

Rollins was ready, Lesnar will disappear for a while then come back at SummerSlam for a match with Bryan and disappear again. Reigns needs more time getting better in the ring and on the mic.

Today's wrestling is slow, flat and has no edge. I remember in my day as a wrestling fan, wrestlers used to DIE in the ring (remember Owen Hart?). When was the last time a wrestler died in today's WWE? It's fecking shit.

Love all the casuals not understanding MITB and asking where Austin is...that was a brilliant ending to a good Mania.

I'm behind on all this stuff, I don't watch it every week it just seems odd to have a guy win the biggest match of the year after losing earlier in the night. His signature move is terrible as well.

Im still having a hard time seeing Sting sell out to Vince like that...after all the years of refusing to sign with the WWE.

8/10 show. Most if not all matches were good but the ending made the show for me. It was perfect the way it was done.

Saying that, when was the last time a Rumble winner won the title. Sheamus? and before that? haha

Rollins has been so good over the past few months, he deserves that.

I said after he lost to Orton that he'd cash in. He is this generations Shawn Michaels and deserves this title run far more than Reigns would have.

Had nothing to do with Selling out. Sting wanted to join WWE before and was close to signing, it was just the content he didnt like. With the whole PG direction, its no surprise he became part of the WWE umbrella.

I'd give it a 7/10 and I think that is generous...

Before Sheamus it was Taker back in 2007

Vince and co need to stop with the superman face bullshit. The majority of fans don't get on board with it after ten long years of super Cena. The reason Bryan got over was because he is likeable and an under dog. They need to build Reigns the same way.

Are you actually being serious? Stop being a fecking knob.

Nev is right to a certain extent...in the old days it actually meant something to win the WHT be it in the WWF or NWA/WCW even though it was fake....now when they talk about the likes of Cena winning it ten or eleven times...I just shake my head. Cena does have an eye for business because once he got a bit of a push, he learned fast who his new daddy was and has been eating out of Vinces ass ever since.

Every match was above average which is impressive when you consider the weak card.
Even more impressive was that Cena V Large Man was match of the night, an excellent match overall. If only Cena would do the STF more convincingly...
Agreed match quality was decent all night no real magical match but the ending is one of the best in recent times.
Yup, standout ending, fixed pretty much every hole that was there going into the match.

I agree. But the push he's getting isn't his fault.

I just feel for him, no matter what he does he gets booed. He's one of the guys with the size to rock Brock and he did that, and still he gets booed.

Tonight was the right move IMO, although I still feel for Reigns.

Hopefully they can build a serious rivalry with Reigns and Rollins. There's potential there as well, Rollins can be seriously unlikeable with his security always interfering and such. Reigns can be a more believable face next to Rollins. Plus they'll push the backstabbing by Rollins as well to build more momentum for Reigns.

It was the right move for business, a guy who's in with the authority to hold the belt will generate genuine dislike for him. Then whoever takes it from him (Reigns) will get a more natural push.

Think they've just given themselves an excellent opportunity for Reigns to develop his character, and everything else. A nice long chasing of Rollins will do him the world of good.

Rollins has basically been the WWE for a year now, carrying it week in week out. He deserved the main event spot more than Reigns in the first place. A few wrongs were righted tonight.
And it is set up nicely for a few storylines coming out of it as well

Not quite not understanding....it's a case of it being killed. It shouldn't exist now, or at the very least they'll make reworking so that you can't change a match stipulation midmatch in the contract....but if that was really in there in the first place, why didn't Seth(forget the others) do it before? Since it's such an epically easy way to cash in......cash in, give your authority dorks to hold back Bork for a bit, and pin the bum he's just killed in the match you've just made a triple threat?

MITB doesn't exist anymore.

Promised him a win at 32 vs Taker.

I tuned back in for the main event - absolutely brilliant. I think Lesnar is becoming an all time great with his recent performances. So unique, and such a great entertainer in the ring.

In fairness it would have been a million times better if Owen Hart died when he was actually wrestling instead if a silly accident whilst entering the ring

Dave Metlzer, the best journalist on wrestling:

But Rednev does not like it
As much as I am an admirer of Dave, and appreciate his opinion...errrrm,nah actaullyI agree...that was a fecking great show. What was there to dislike?

IC title ladder match was alright.
Orton vs Rollins was good.
Sting vs Triple H descended into a farce.
The Diva's looked pretty good
Cena vs Rusev was very good
Taker vs Wyatt was good.
Lesnar vs Reigns was brilliant just on the finish alone.

It would have been a million times better if he had not died and nobody dies in a wrestling ring again.

As I said to my mate tonight, people will love Reigns for going stiff with Lesnar tonight more so as he would have, had he won the title tonight...good booking.
