Thought it was fairly well known that he is charismatic, being a bit shit at delivering a promo doesn't mean he isn't charismatic though.
Reigns is fantastic when just talking. That video following on the day of the Rumble was brilliant. They needed more of that stuff, kinda like 24/7 for boxing but with Brock and Reigns for this match, especially with Brock not appearing there instead of Reigns losing to Big Show and and Rollins (thanks to Orton and Reigns not even asking WTF? is up with that...)

I understand that. I'm simply making the point that his character and delivery should play more on his natural charisma. Austin said that back in the Attitude Era they were given more free reign (pun intended) to bullet point and roll with it. I simply just wonder how over he could be given these freedom's.

!!! So what in the heck are they doing over there in WWE creative/brass? That's really good. No stutter, convincing. It's as if they're trying to sabotage him. If that Roman Reigns is allowed to verbalise himself there's no doubt he'd be mega over. It would even stop the IWC from insisting that he remains a mute ass-kicking Goldberg in order to get over.
Ultimately it's the top brass, of course, but from what the insiders, ex-writers and creative members are saying, there's a lack of good strong writing within the WWE at the moment. That does play its part, however, yes, it's entirely plausible that McMahon is micromanaging Reigns.
Everything is done to please Vince not the crowd no doubt. Every ex creative member comes out and say its an audience of one they have to write, and rewrite and rewrite again for until hes happy.
Id be very surprised if Vince hasnt latched onto him and is doing all the writing personally for him because thats what he thinks will get over with everybody know, given Vince still lives in the 80s.

I read a report that suggested that very thing.
Finally had a chance to catch up, that ending to raw was fecking abysmal. Heymen was in poor form this week, utterly forgettable promo, followed by the 2 guys that they are building as monsters playing shit tug of war over the belt. shocking and not in a good way! if they were trying to suggest that this was a tussle over the title then they not only failed miserably, they have also forgotten about the intercontinental championship build up!
I do think Mania will be a decent show, i'm kind of looking forward to Taker Vs Bray, Wyatt has done a very good job in building the match by himself and his promo this week was excellent, building him up to be the next 'dark' guy and this match having decent 'pass the torch' possibilities make it intriguing to say the least.

There's only one slam dunk of a great match at Mania - and that's the ladder match, everything else could go either way for me.
19 gave us Rock vs Austin
25 had HHH vs Orton as main event. taker vs HBK was best match though.
I think the Sting/HHH match will be good for the spectacle. Taker, im intrigued to see what he looks like, how he is and all that surrounding him. Reigns vs Brock could go either way and I think it also depends on the crowd and how they react to it.

17 is my fav Rock vs Austin match. Wasnt 19 Brock vs angle? I liked that PPV too. Had some fantastic matches. Both PPvs actually. 18 I didnt like the Main event though the Rock/Hogan match was fantastic to watch.
That wasn't the main event (it was for 17) - 19 was Brock vs. Angle, which was still a great match to be fair... I think he meant more in recent years.
HHH vs. Orton was pretty bad if I remember correctly - not helped by a pretty awful build going into it.
That match was spoilt by the stipulation too. HHH vs Orton was meant to be brutal instead, that stupid stip of HHH can lose the title by DQ limited it. Instead it should have been a no DQ match.
And yeah I meant recent years. The main events varied year by year from good to ... is that it?
You understand that's fairly scripted too right? Probably not to similar levels, but they know the general gist of what will happen in their 10 minute chat from earlier.
Then again, he delivers it better, though Conan can do that with anyone. Plus it's more natural stuff to be talking about than trying to making epic troll esque catchphrases like "I CAN I WILL" work. He'll probably never be a top level talker.
