Wasn't there a story that she didn't want to take Pipers nickname, out of respect as she was a fan of his, until later on he met her and gave his blessing?

I read on BR that she is a huge 4 horseman fan, Flair goes to quite a few of her fights and she and 3 of her team mates are always posing doing the 4 horseman hang gesture!

Remember kids, wrestling is fake and gay. Watch MMA for real fighting...or something.
What is your point BO?

For real fighting you watch MMA, right?

WWE isnt real fighting, its watched for entertainment purposes.

It doesnt mean you cant be a fan of both

Completely true story that one. She outright called herself a heel before her last fight, she's completely disregarding the kayfabe of MMA brother.

There's meant to be a fair few wrestling fans in the MMA lot... I know Tom Lawlor is one.

Yeah a load of them are. Tom Lawlor's run in with Sting is one of the funniest things I've ever heard tbh.

I think it was more pointing out that there's a high proportion of those in MMA that are big wrestling fans, which is pretty funny considering the condascending nature that a lot of (note, definitely not all of) MMA fans have towards wrestling.

Managed to watch the end of RAW (from the Usos match on), after streams rebelled against me on Monday night. That tag match was great, really hope they consider putting the belts on the Wyatts, although I've heard that the plan is for The Ascension to debut and win them :(.

Hope Harper gets a good shot as a singles wrestler too, I think he's great.

I started rewatching WWE back in 2011 and Cena's lost clean to Bryan, Rock, and Orton. I'd include Punk at MITB as well, although I could see why others would not. He's lost plenty of other matches as well.

I'd wager CM Punk is the only guy who has been on top for as long as Cena in that time period and he's only taken a few clean losses in that run to Rock, Taker, Cena, Lesnar and he went almost 18 months without a single clean loss. It's not just Cena who gets protected. Bryan's only lost one match clean since MITB last year and that was against Wyatt and Reigns is going to be similarly protected for the next couple of years.

Personally, I'm not that bothered about clean or dirty wins. Wrestling's about entertainment and WWE does not even really try to play up any sport's elements. Even then Cena's record has been pretty similar to the other main eventers last few years.

Does anyone find Cena entertaining though? Personally I find him really hit and miss. I really liked his feuds with Punk, Bryan and his one month angle with Lesnar and felt he really added to those programs and he entertained me much as much of the rest. Rock feud was decent.

On the other side, I found all his feuds with Orton, Del Rio, and Ryback last year really boring and likewise the same with Kane, and Big Show the year before and really could not get into the Wyatt feud either despite there being some good isolated parts. I also really liked most of Wyatt's stuff till then.

I just listened to Big Van Vader talking about a match where his eyeball was knocked out of its socket and he shoved it back in and carried on for another 25 minutes. Sin Cara recently dislocated his finger during a match and didn't continue. They don't make 'em like they used to!

Bob Holly.

Without a doubt one of the hardest sons of bitches to lace the boots up!!

I remember the arm break in particular, he must of been out of it or something because he put his arm upright as angle came off the turnbuckle, angles full weight landed right down on it and shattered it. He kept going as well to finish of the match for a few more mins, even attempting an irish whip if I recall correctly.

Vader is a freak of nature though, its hardly fair to compare any normal human to him

Trips and his torn quad is up there(not quite Vader eyeball level, though!), even letting Jericho stretch it.

What happened when Mick Foley lost his ear, did he continue, was it post match?

as far as Im aware it was mid match, Foley went to do his over the top rope fall he is famous for (where he wraps his arm in the rope kinda), he got tangled up and it was literally choking him. To get out of it he had to squeeze his head out and it ripped part of his ear off.

The match was against Vader too BTW.

They continued for long enough for Vader to win. The match is on youtube.

This is sick!

In the ECW documentary released a few years back New Jack stated he actually wanted to kill Grimes, he sneaked a real taser gun into his pocket and hit Grimes with it and then proceeded to do this.... by some miracle Grimes managed to bounce off the turnbuckle and actually live!

That Lesnar power bomb on Holly... Wtf? I don't know enough about wrestling to know who was at fault there but I assume it was Lesnar's? And if so, why wasn't there any consequence?

If I recall Bob Holly was known to be stiff and make it hard for the younger/newer guys. On this occasion he decided to make himself dead weight, mid way through the move in an attempt to make Brock Lesnar look bad. So Brock dropped him on his head, I might be wrong but I think Brock got some praise around the time as Holly was well known for it....may be wrong on that though.

Holly himself said that, he was meant to drop down and hit a drop kick. But that the timing was out.

Yeah, Holly made himself dead weight(sandbagging they call it, he's notorious for it), Lesnar decided, "feck you, you'll have your powerbomb regardless", Holly is probably still a cnut to this day.

He beat the shit out of Renee Dupree in a house show too, for getting a ticket on a car he rented, and some lad on Tough Enough, IIRC.

I'm sure I read that Brock was sick when facing Holly, had fever or something, so that may have lead to him botching the powerbomb

The resultant storyline with Hardcore storming around the place and Brock hiding behind Big Show was great though.

Just been checking up on what has been happening in WWE lately, don't follow anymore. Did they really have Undertaker lose his Wrestlemania streak to Brock Lesnar? He should have kept his streak and taken to the grave, but if someone was to beat it, should have been a fellow legend like a Stone Cold, Rock or HBK, someone WORTHY of taking it. Felt sick when read about it

Had to be Lesnar, legit badass and is still wrestling part time. He'll be able to put people over in good matches.

Yeah, Lesnar is realistically the only guy in there currently who could carry the burden of ending the streak. With Heyman there to talk it up as well for him it makes sense in many respects for Lesnar to be that guy.

Lesnar is ok but he is not a legend. It should have been someone who could be argued is a bigger legend than Undertaker. There are very few wrestlers that can even make a case for it. Stone Cold and few others are only ones that have the legend status to be worthy of being THAT MAN who ended the streak. Anyway I not that bothered because I don't even watch it and haven't done for years. It is just felt bit annoyed when read about what happened.
