Typical Chelsea.
I read Chelsea have released Hilario and Turnbull, so who is their #2 GK?
Random bump, but I was wondering, if Chelsea are to meet Atletico Madrid in the UCL. Will he be eligible to play?
Thanks Damo.It depends on the terms of the loan, I think. Courtois was able to play against Chelsea when both teams met in the Super Cup.
Wants to join Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

Any links?
Catalan paper Sport lead with Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois on their front page today with the claim the Belgian wants to leave Stamford Bridge for Barcelona.
Thibaut Courtois has already established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world during his loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
Signed by the Blues from Genk for just 9 million euros, Courtois has been a major reason behind Atletico Madrid’s success under Diego Simeone and is a key part of a side that has started the 2013/2014 La Liga season with 8 successive victories.
Sport suggest on Tuesday morning that Courtois is now Barcelona’s first choice to replace Victor Valdes who is out of contract at the end of the season and expected to join Monaco next summer.
Crucially, Courtois is eager to stay in Spain and feels he is unlikely to dislodge Petr Cech in the Chelsea goal.
Despite the fact Courtois is contracted to Chelsea until 2016, the Belgian has made it clear to Barcelona that he will push through a move to the Nou Camp, a fact that was relayed during the negotiations over David Villa’s sale to Atletico Madrid in the summer.
This could be one of the major 2014 summer transfer stories, especially if Courtois continues to impress for Atletico and then shines for Belgium at the World Cup.
Barcelona will throw a lot of cash at their next goalkeeper, according to Sport and a key player in this saga could be Jose Mourinho who will have to convince Courtois to stay at Stamford Bridge.
The Sport link is nothing revelatory but Rosell claiming in a recent interview that he likes Courtois is perhaps more compelling news. Still, he's contracted to Chelsea through '16 and would not be easy nevermind cheap to pry away. Still think other keepers are more likely than Courtois at this point.
You gotta say though, Courtois is quality. It'd be insane for Chelsea to sell him, but who knows with that lot.
He did. I'd think he would be eligible playing against Chelsea. Thanks Damo.
Couldn't remember whether he played in the Super Cup or not.
Definitely quality and proven in La Liga which is a big selling point, obviously. But Chelsea & Mou? I think Barcelona would be priced out of such a move.
You do you see Barca ending up with then? I think that times are changing regarding keepers, as they are elsewhere in the transfer market. You really have to pay relitively big money for a quality keeper unlike a couple of years ago.
If Barca don't sign De Gea I can't see him moving anywhere else meaning he could well become one of our all time great players.

Misjudged the flight of a deflected ball. No coming back from that. Might as well put him down, like a crocked useless racehorse.
