So how much value has been added now after that hattrick?
Non. The buy out clause will remain the same.

Do people seriously not understand the concept of the "RELEASE CLAUSE"?So how much value has been added now after that hattrick?
Can't beleive Roman watches u-21 matches. Does Not strike the type.
Abramovich attends Chelsea's FA Youth Cup matches, U-15 matches etc. While he may not have watched this, he's probably more invested than most people think.
Barcelona players absolutely hate Jose, so can't see him signing for Chelsea. But then, money talks and he'll get plenty of playing time there as well. Looking at Thiago's reaction to De Gea inviting him to Manchester, I'm not getting a particularly good feeling, hope I'm wrong though.
Heh. I do. But considering the state of agents now, the said player/his agent will demand for a better deal for him.Do people seriously not understand the concept of the "RELEASE CLAUSE"?
Page 73.When was this?
I think he knows whatever Barca can offer him for a new contract, other big clubs out there will easily match it. However, if it comes down to playing time, he probably knows he'll get more if he moves on to another club.
If he really ends up in England, then it'd better be us. I really wouldn't like seeing such a huge young talent playing week-in week-out for City or Chelsea!
Can someone PLEASE rubbish this chelsea rumour? It's going to be a long day at the office. This lad is perfect for our midfield. I don't think my heart can handle missing out on this lad.

*sigh* buying into transfer muppetry is not the life for me. I will just wait until final confirmation.

How do you pronounce Alcantara anyway?
Does it rhyme with Cantona or Banana? Is the C hard or soft?
Al-cant-a-ra, I think.
Hard C rhymes with Cantona then?
Throw me a bone here, mate, I gave you multiple choice ffs.
Bloody hell cider you don't come on the Caf to read sense do you?Coming from the same guy seventeen minutes apart, the above posts don't make sense.
I bet if the likes of Cleverley had a fancy Spanish surname you wouldnt tell the difference between him and Alcantara or Iniesta
Haha thats a great spot, kinda backs up my point here though!:
Please be wrong!
Nonsense. He's been a muppet dream for 2 or 3 years, you just don't think you'll be able to prize one of Barca's best young players off them.
I still think the most likely scenario is him receiving assurances about his future and subsequently staying at Barca.
If he does leave though, and it's a big if, I believe that we would be the most likely destination. He would be absolutely brilliant for us as well, he's the business.
Hopefully we find out soon like, not a big fan of long, drawn-out transfer sagas personally.
I've said before in this thread, what type of assurance can they give him that he will play ahead of Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets and Fabregas? The type of assurance that of he doesn't play enough his release clause will drop from €90m to €18m? That'll really assure him.
He won't get many games in his natural position like but I still think they might try and shoe-horn him in the side just to be able to keep a hold of him. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they gave him a roaming role on the flank next season, similar to the one Kagawa has played for us at times.
He's that good I just can't see them letting him go that easily. I really hope I'm wrong though.
Sad but true, its just a different planet these young Spanish kids are made.
