Gaming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Ok I need to know where I am in regards to the end of the game as I won't be able to play it from Friday 6pm onwards. So I want to explore as many of the side quests as possible but I also want to finish it. Can someone tell me without spoilering how far away from the end I am, hour-wise?

I just turned Uma back into that Elf guy and was told Ciri is on the Isles of Mist or something like that.

Main story wise, you've about 15-20 hrs left.

Way off. Probably more than 15 hours of Main Story quests at least.

This one was in the comments too

Damien how do I just make it a link and not embed?

Just finished.. Did basically all the side quests and contracts. Must have spent 200 hours on this game. One of the best RPGs Ive played to be honest, but I got a bit fatigued towards the end of it and just wanted it over with. Great game though, reaching Novigrad and all the quests there were probably my favourite part. Must be the best city ever in a game. Did you play it @Mrs Smoker?

Of what though?
A rose. She got it during the events of the books, running around with a group of bandits called The Rats. She got a rose to match Misiles, her girlfriend/protector during that time.

When they were designing the characters they got models in and had them in the nude and worked from that, making them dress up in the costumes etc, I remember seeing it in a video before the game came out.

Argh.

F*ck Imlerith and his stupid second phase after he drops his shield. I've got a broken sword and no food to heal myself with so I only have Quen but I keep getting caught by his attacks when he goes mental and teleports.

I got stuck for a while here too. You need to constantly roll around and only attack him when he gets his mace stuck in the ground, but only for one or two hits because he quickly recovers. And keep spamming quen.

It's quite an easy fight I thought.

Just spam roll and go for two power attacks. The only time you'll get tagged is if you get greedy.

Oh I know I just keep getting caught when I'm dodging at times and I have no way to heal if I do get hit without Quen. Getting better at it though.

I have to! Got so much to do tomorrow before I leave I doubt I'll get another chance to finish it. Trying to plough through now.

I need a quick answer

I'm on the bit in Novigrad where you have to get on the boat to go to Skellige to try and lure Eredin (?) out to kill him. Can I finish the game in the next 2 hours?

Given up anyway. I'll finish it in a years time.

It took me a good 8 or 9 attempts. I was about to lose patience with it then did the classic and beat him without taking a bit of damage myself. Weird fight.
Took me forever because I had gotten so used to just dodging+Quen that I forgot I had a roll button.

Exactly what happened with me. If you just roll and never dodge it's a very easy fight.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to start using that Protective Shield Golbe thing that turns damage into vitality... I never die any more.
