Television The Walking Dead

Yea I got that, but I'm sure it's Negan's plan for her too.
Yeah, but you're moaning about her moaning about it when she wasn't really moaning. It seems redundant to moan about it when it was all an act anyway if you knew it was.

What gets me is that Negan lets soooo much slide when it comes to outsiders killing his men.

Negan is a bond villain. Would make more sense to kill some of the people hes let free.

Ah stop moaning! Even though I knew she wasn't really moaning, her moaning gave me the urge to have a moan. In fact anyone who frequents this thread knows that this show brings out the moaner in all of us.

Just a few plot holes from the season finale.

Rick and Negan again stealing the show though. Their relationship and interactions are the only parts I find really enjoyable these days.

Thought it was a great episode, but we really should be getting episodes like this during the season and not the finale (especially compared to other finales). Despite one or two casualties, the main group are in the exact same position they were in at the mid season interval, and the season ended exactly how I expected (i.e. the war that was built up throughout the second half of the season... is now about to be built up again).

Don't they have quite a bit of source material they can sort of follow?

There's no that much anymore, proper filmmaker would've done the rest in a 10-ish episode season. But current ones...think they can easily stretch that to 3-4. And then there'll again be source material by that time. It's a wicked circle.

I'd hoped that war would've started *and* ended in this season, but it only just begun.

We only got introduced to Negan in the last episode of season 6, the war didn't need to begin straight after, it needed a lot of build up. As it is the war has begun in the finale and will end in next seasons finale.

And with what source material is left they can get 2 seasons easily out of it, to think they can do all that in 10 episodes is ridiculous.

my DL ended upbruptly just after Rick got shot! The actual ending wasn't much more satisfying.

Let's see how many filler episodes we have next year before anything happens.

If they really want it they can stretch it beyond 2 more seasons IMO.
Easily.

When you're used to current The Walking Dead on TV, of course it might seem ridiculous.
No, it's ridiculous full stop as there is a ton of stuff up to the current issue, and no way would it come out good in 10 episodes regardless of how twd is right now.

There's no ton of stuff, really, you have [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. Oh yeah, and the current war that's not spoiler material anymore. It could've been done in shorter time, but you'd have to change the whole style of the show. But that's just not profitable.

Surely not! The showrunner said "The first four episodes will melt people's minds and break their televisions".

Of course, he also said, "It's gonna be bigger, it's gonna be more intense. I always mean that, but this year it's the same thing - more intense".

Yeah, he always means that...

Fake news.

It was decent, probably cos something happened. but as said above, that something that happened pretty much didnt change much except some no names dying and the turncoats being revealed . Wish that shit head garbage woman was attacked by the tiger.

Negan should never be allowed to play baseball ever again, that self absorbed rickety babbling motherfecker.

Great episode.

They should just do a whole episode on the tiger mauling people.

Especially her, her head frustrates me.

Thought the acting between Rick and Negan was good after he thought Michonne fell. Both wanting to attack the other more than anything but knowing they had to hold back. Rest of it felt quite rushed though. Jumped from scene to scene without much build up, I was confused when everyone started shooting and Negan was pinned down and then next scene he's got Carl surrounded inside Alexandria.
