Television The Walking Dead

RIP Walking Dead. Nice knowing you. Too many plot holes. How do these walkers & Tigers keep sneaking up on people?

Also, those flashback scenes with Abraham kept killing the momentum. Also another annoying cliche with Michonne when that blonde chick was on top of Michonne but obviously didn't see Michonne reaching for some glass (?) to hit her in the head. Such lazy writing.

The tiger although admittedly cool is flawed as hell, how on earth does it know which people in that mass of panic to maul? Then again this is the programme that has us believe a grown tiger can actually be tamed and kept as a pet in the first place so I suppose....yeah.

Decent episode on the whole though not what I'd expect from a season finale. I was expecting more from Dwight he just sort of disappeared after a promising start.

Talking about plot holes, the garbage people are like something out of starwars. Are we to believe after a few years of zombie apocalypse people can become weird talking, shitty haircuts freaks who live in a garbage tip? Same applies with Ezekial, these characters make no sense.

I've not read the comics but I think the characters have always been outlandish and it ends up not translating well to TV.

Thought that was pretty good apart for the boring flashbacks. The tiger  has to be up there with Jesus fly kicking that zombie.

Wish there was more action like this in the other episodes.

Thought the action was horribly choreographed too and strange at times. Also the fact that every member of the main group reacted first and shot the person who had them at gunpoint. Except Rick obvs but he's wearing that plot armour.

Negan also has so much plot armour he can flip the bird while being shot at by about 12 assault rifles.

How could a person survive that. None of the bullet managed to penentrate the truck lol.

And the tiger conveniently attack the person beside negan and not negan or the gabbage lady who stand nearer to the tiger

Also Negan loudly exclaiming that Maggie was still alive was just weird  He was like a cartoon villain in that scene scurrying off.

When i opened the BBC website this morning i briefly caught a glimpse of a walking dead story, but managed to avoid as to what it was about. I was thinking it was something very controversial happened in the finale to have made the BBC site, so had quite high anticipation when watch the finale.

Nope! turns out it was just the producing hyping up next season...because they seriously need to at its current form..
The walking dead used to be one the most entertaining shows i watched (going back years now since i felt that), now overall, its a 6 out of 10 show. i pretty much dont care anymore. This season other than the introduction of some new characters felt like one long filler, building up to "a war". hmm I wonder what next season is going to be about...?

Thought the first hour and 10 minutes was quite good for Walking Dead standards. Didn't see that coming with the scavengers turning on Rick's crew nor Sasha turning into a walker (not sure exactly what she was hoping to accomplish?). But the last 15 minutes was so ridiculously retarded that it would have left the sand snake girls from GoT shaking their heads. What did the figurine that said "Didn't know" signify? Was it dropped by meltface?

She knew Neagan would be using her life as leverage, so she killed herself so she couldn't be used like that.

Gotcha, makes sense. Seems so obvious when you put it that way. Was thinking more in terms of becoming a walker to try and kill Negan, which is laughable.

Ezekiel is putting it on, it's an act, he showed that to us when he spoke normally with Carol.

With the garbage people though it is stupid.

I actually felt embarrassed last night, when I was watching the Walking Dead. Embarrassed for the writers, actors, directors of this terrible, terrible tv show.
I felt even more embarrassed for myself. Why do I still watch this shit? Why was I excited for the final episode?

And then it all came together. A big fecking tiger sneaking up on 100 people without being seen, attacking only the "bad" guys, 25 automatic weapons fired at a truck without being able to scratch it, main characters getting surrounded by 10 guys with weapons, escaping without any mayor injury. This is one of the funniest tv shows made in recent years.

And I'm pretty excited for next season.

 that was stupid. Particularly with the girl watching Roshawn (bad spelling). She had her at gunpoint at a good 3m distance then it cuts to a scene of her punching her in the face. Makes no sense.

Fair enough, why is he putting it on though?

He explained in the episode, it's to play his role as king and give people something to look to.

Show makes no sense any more. At all. I am just watching to finish it now.

How can these guys never miss a shot when it comes to walkers but when there's a need to shoot real people they're absolutely hopeless? I understand walkers are slower etc but my God their aim is just so awful. I wish Michonne had died too. Someone meaningful should die for once. I could not care less about Sasha.

Zombie apocalypse doesn't sound that bad. Seems all the surviving women are really hot and willing to bang guys below their standards. There's also full on communities of lezzers. What's not to like?

The show "Life After People" has sort of ruined all these survivors of the apocalypse shows for me. I keep waiting for the massive fires that nobody is around to put out. The local nuclear plant or at least it's spent rod storage facility to explode and kill everyone with radiation.

Even waiting for the secondary epidemics to kick in, you got tons of rotting corpses walking around or in many cases just laying around, be nice to see a bunch of the survivors catch Cholera. And where the feck are the massive swarms of flies that should be having a field day eating and breeding on all the dead?

Fires burn themselves out eventually, yes even huge mofo forest fires. Nuclear rods will just power down right? Surely they don't have the urge to go boom if no one's looking? Not for a few decades/century? Disease I agree with you on. Its ridiculous they overlook that so easily. Rick has a hole in his hand and gets shot regularly around his torso but doesn't even catch a cold.

Fires will eventually burn themselves out, but you would expect maybe some whole towns/cities to eventually go up in flame or at least large portions of them. Fires would be a huge risk in any apocalypse both during and in the aftermath.

According to the show "Life After People" (and maybe they got it wrong or exaggerated ) the pools the spent fuel rods are stored in for the first 10 to 20 years after they are no longer of use have to be kept cool otherwise there is a danger of the water eventually boiling off, which could then lead to problems (not nuclear detonations obviously) that could result in radioactive elements being released into the environment.

What was that little statue that Daryl found then. I didn't understand the significance of it.

I figured it's a message from Dwight saying he didn't know shit was gonna go down the way it did - meaning he didn't betray them to Negan.

I think it was from the writers that they don't know what to do.

Haha yeah it's the most probable outcome

I'm not sure, it was a tiny statue how on earth did Dwight know daryl would even find it In all that commotion. I do still think Dwight has changed for the better though so maybe.

He also got cut to pieces while rolling around in a dump.

He should be riddled with diseases!

Because the writers are morons.
