Television The Walking Dead

Oi we couldn't wait another day to take a clean shot on Negan, even though we could've done that before actually but we didn't for some reason. I have to charge in and get killed.

This show is pathetic.

I personally thought the first half of the season was decent. Second half has been a load of shit and they clearly trying to get mileage out of Negan (who is barely featuring at the moment) by dragging shit out.

This is turning into an awful programme unfortunately. As each season goes on they just seem to drag the storylines out sooooo much. Shame really cos it could have been amazing. I personally think its gone downhill after season 4. The Guv'nor seasons were awesome.

Most likely Dwight.
I said to mrs it could be dwight, although he looked a bit big for him.

Was a poor episode overall, looks like eugene perhaps is just happy there rather than scheming. Rosita and sasha can both die as they add nothing to the show, apart from adding some whingey teen attitudes.

Scene with simon and gregory was best, was a bit more tension and better dialogue.

Rosita is the worst, shes weighs like 40 kg, and is meant to be some badass emo all of a sudden, ready to kick everyones ass

Walking Dead needs to be binned. Like any successful show they always kill it by dragging stuff out. Lately this has just been garbage.

Another 'character development' episode. So many mistakes. Why was the building slap bang right opposite the complex not guarded? Or at least routinely checked? Any enemy could house up there ready for a move. Like someone said above, why not wait for another clean shot on Negan? Going in guns blazing is using up already sparse bullets when/IF you even get close to a now alerted Negan.

If its simply a revenge suicide mission for their lover why put the other three residences at threat? Did they forget Lucille's bloodlust? What's the point of sending Rosita back saying 'its not your time'? It fecking is now that you've gone in guns blazing. Its everyone's time. Its Lucille time. Thank God its nearly at an end. Might give the 'next' series a miss unless they start exploring a 'cure' or come across military personnel that show them what happened and what may be salvageable.

Yep, thankfully just as they turned on their own radio or whatever it was. Lucky timing eh?...

Genuine question..

How has Negan not noticed anything fishy going on yet? Isn't he supposed to be very smart with excellent instincts?

Rick and co spent days on end looking for Gabriel and then the weapons for the weird group. Is preparing battle and going to all these other camps.. Yet Negan hasn't noticed a thing?

Wasn't he meant to be this guy who takes it upon himself to turn up and leave at will? How's he not turned up yet with Rick not being there? It's even more stupid because before we first met Negan, it showed how many eyes he has around the place. He was happy to let the group keep running because they couldn't hide from him as he was everywhere.. Now all of a sudden Rick seems able to go wherever he wants and nobody can see him?

I genuinelly need help understanding.

Got to admit I've never followed such a masochistic thread in my life. I feel I need to do some sort of intervention for you all. Week in week out you all declare your hatred and nothing happens and it s crap and I hope so'n'so dies because they're crap and you hate them and you won't watch another episode because its crap and you hate them all and the season finale which will end in a cliff hanger of some sort as every other one has but you doubt you can hold on until then because it's crap and you hate them. I look forward to next weeks episode of self flagellating viewer misery proclamation.

Probably the best comment in this entire thread.

I would literally blew my brains out if I had to watch this show live. Figuratively speaking.

Terrible adaptation of lovely source material.

anyone know where I can stream this without having to sign-up to anything? Currently unable to download

Incredible how they went about setting up the bombs around the female camp without being detected. It would have looked credible if they had overpowered a few of them in order to set that up.

It's because they don't have guards or patrols, they have the bell system that Tara knew about.

The problem you're having is trying to apply logic to a show that has none at all.

Loved that episode,

The end part with the scarface guy in the cell made me want more, I was annoyed it ended there. Don't quite know what Sasha is going to do either. Building up to to a good episode next week though.

Surprise surprise, we get a much better episode when it Negan and actual zombies.

Negan, Zombies and overall jumping back and forth between characters rather than focusing on one or two. Sometimes it's that simple.

It wasn't great or anything, but it didn't feel like a waste of time.

How did Negan know Rick is up to something?
He has eyes on them, and did tell them when they first met that he'd be watching. Someone actually commented about this after last week or 2 about how has negan not noticed rick was up to something.

Had some good bits in this week. Hopefully rick doesnt kill dwight, quite like his character. Will also add some tension after his previous run ins with daryl.

Literally zero chance.

What about Eugene? Maybe he told him as well?

Sasha's kamikaze plan was so painfully stupid I found it really frustrating to see her complaining she's going to be used against her friends.

Decent ep tbh (if you dont apply logic and just think of the walkers having a higher IQ in terms of decision making compared to the actual humans).
Not sure if thats because the rest have been fairly bleh and something happened I was willing to forgive some stuff.
Also Rick is more of a villain than Negan. Its just Rick is surrounded by friendlier people?

Also always laugh at how these noisy AF walkers who growl all the time can always sneak up on people from the side.

How did Negan know Rick is up to something?

Probably the only thing that makes sense.

There was some top notch background acting from Maggie and the zombie when that bloke was on the floor struggling. We constantly see all of the main group just one stab kill the walkers but oh wait this time she's grappling with one for about 25 seconds in the background

Also when all of the walkers came into the camp because of the explosions I started scrolling my phone because I knew it basically wasn't an issue. All you need to watch out for are those stealth zombies, not the hordes.
