Television The Walking Dead

I liked that too. Can just imagine her lying there thinking not only have the writers killed her off, they're making fat jokes too.

Also, another part that had me cracking up was when he stabbed that guy (cant remember his name), and his guts started coming out ahaha.

Carol, Carl, Eugene and Donatello need to get it next. They are all useless characters at the moment, though at least all bar Carl have redeemable features.

Why didn't Rosita go to clean up the guts? She could have got closer and killed him.

Neegan shouldn't have shaved... now he looks like Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond.

Negan shouldn't have shaved because now he's even more dreamy than he was originally.

Who was the boots guy?

A new character I presume, there isn't anyone that could be a blast from the past.

it was better than every episode this season apart from the opener which isn't saying a lot.

the show's biggest weakness is its stupid idea of focusing specifically on different characters/locations every week, and not just important ones, completely irrelevant, crap, boring ones. i mean the Tara shit might not have seemed as bad if it was at least spaced out to one scene per episode. by the finale i was like "hang on, they were there?"

imagine if Game of Thrones did a full fecking episode dedicated to Samwell or Daenerys.

i'll give this season a generous 4/10 so far, extra points awarded for Carl playing darts and the Jesus karate kicks.

I agree that it's too bloated. There's a reason why season 1 is still up there with the best 6 seasons later.

In fact, whatever season the hospital shit was going on I actually missed an entire episode and I'm no worse off for it. I hated that hospital shit so much.

The big problem also is how they break it up, thus try to have events like midseason finales, rather than just letting the show flow normally. If it was 10 episodes, all in one run, the show would be much better and wouldnt have as much filler. It would be less predictable in terms of the format of opener, then the filler (or slow slow slow buildup) until the mid season finale.

They have pretty much structured it in a way that tells the viewers, you only need to watch the opener, mid season finale and then the return and finale.

Negan clearly respects men with bottle, that's why he likes Carl. Yes he tried to kill him but he's got more balls than all of his men put together (in Negans eyes)

I think he feels that he could groom Carl into being his right hand man, that's why he lets him get away with so much crap. Similarly to Rick, he knows that keeping Rick in line will also control the others. Once what's his name with the guts out tried to revolt he knew he had to make a show of power.

Glad fatty boom boom is dead also, all she ever did was cry.

It'll be interesting to see how the uprising happens. I think it's pretty clear they are going to kill Negan by all taking it in turns wacking him with Lucille right?

I cant see Negan dying, not this season anyway. I think he will be around for 2 or 3 seasons and it will stretch out. Hes got soo many people and different areas. I think some of his trust worthy people however will go leaving him more vulnerable for later.

They should just have Carl turn heel though and join him causing issues for Rick trying to take him out as they have to get past the one eyed dart thrower.

They can't kill Negan, he's one of about 4 characters who people actually remember their names.

It was a hit & miss season if I'm honest. Started well, then went to pot.
Introduced some interesting characters, Eze, Negan etc. Showed plenty of Negan, but only 1 episode with Eze in.
Game of thrones way of showing different characters is so much better. Then they have longer sections when there is plenty of action.
The angle with Carol / Morgan is boring as feck.

Must be a cost thing or something because it isn't working and it's clear as fecking day.

I think it was the man that Rick and the other matey stole from. You see him watching them when they are messing around on the boats, he also left that note about winning but really losing (when he got beaten up) and then was shown at the end hanging around at the gate. Don't know who he actually is though, or if we've met him yet.

I wonder if this new character will be a way to keep Negan around for a couple more seasons. Possibly give Rick and Negan a mutual enemy and we can see them tag team? That would be amazing.

In reality though, with the numbers the saviours have it's hard to believe Negan would ever lose control without being killed.

Thing is, we've seen how ruthless Negan is and now we're seeing that Rick and his group know they need to fight. There's no real way for it to go other than Negan dies. He's not going to survive an attempted attack and just go "Well. Look. At. This. You've just tried to kill me again. But I'm going to let you all live as long as you keep working for me and don't try this again."

So we know Rick and his whole group isn't going to die and it's not believable that they'll attempt to kill him and lose, but survive, so much as it will be a pity, it seems inevitable.

Negan can escape and regroup though to a place which hasnt been shown but is conveniently there.

Negan should die at the end of the season. None of that dragging on bullshit like they did with the governor.

feck me the governor, this show really has been shit ages hasn't it? i mean they dedicated two whole episodes to a shit villain's comeback and then he attacked the prison the next one and died. ugh.
