Television The Walking Dead

Negan should die at the end of the season. None of that dragging on bullshit like they did with the governor.

feck me the governor, this show really has been shit ages hasn't it? i mean they dedicated two whole episodes to a shit villain's comeback and then he attacked the prison the next one and died. ugh.

I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan is confirmed for next season.

I hope they don't kill him off, they can kill his people but not him. He's the best character in the show at the moment

When Negan stopped the bullet with his bat, I had a very strong 'why am I still watching this show?' moment.

It was the first bullet that Eugene manufactured, I thought the reason it didn't penetrate the bat was that it was poorly made.

He didn't mean to

He got lucky.
Which is annoying in itself, but really I meant how unrealistically the bullet was just stopped dead by a wooden bat.

I try hard to take realism with a pinch of salt in a zombie program, but c'monnnnnnnn....

I guess that argument would make more sense, but I'm still not happy about it!

Somehow that reminded me of models walking on a runway.

Take him prisoner, dress him up in a French maid's outfit and make him clean houses in Alexandria, all while keeping his wise-cracking attitude.
He'd probably make it work. "Ooo-ee, I look hot as SHIT! Huh, Rick?!"

This show needs an 18+ scene that involves Rosita.
Has there been any sex scenes in this show? They'll show heads being caved in with bats and a kid getting his eye shot out but sex seems to be off the table.

What was the guy with the vest doing in the cabin in the middle of nowhere after he spoke to Carol and Morgan? I've also forgotten what the whole thing between the 2 of them was about with that W villian whom Morgan refused to kill. There's been a lot of this show that's very easily forgettable, names notwithstanding.

Its' just a an average show that had an interesting premise but eventually turned into an overlong and boring mess. Sometimes I wonder why it's so difficult for networks to hire talented writers because it seems that a lot of this stuff was written by some hack with a GED. I mean I'm not expecting some unique style like Mad Men's Matthew Weiner or Breaking Bad's Vince Gilligan, but surely you can create something more entertaining and thrilling than that shit on a stick they serve in the TWD on a daily basis.

Don't think it is about the quality of the writers. This show is simply being milked to the death. 16-episode seasons are solely done to generate more revenues.

Yep agree with this, most of the seasons could have easily been done in 10 episodes.

 Very true tbh.

The first season had that element of intensity. I still remember the scene after Rick had woken up and went into darkness. So intense. It went to crap with the last episode of that season tbh. From there it has been more about events than actual storytelling and story progression.

As soon as it got interesting, it bloody ends for 2 months!

You lot are right, 16 episode seasons are a waste of time, cut it down to 12 or even 10.

So the group is now going to rise up against their toughest adversary. This plucky group who have been beaten down by Satan himself are somehow finding the courage to come together against the odds in what will surely be an epic struggle. I mean, sure, they still live in their houses and only four of them have been killed by this guy even though Carl and Rosita should also be pushing up daisies, but oooooooh watch out because Negan is super tough and there's no way that Rick will win.

Ffs, they tried to build up the story that Negans group now have all the guns and Rick has none - yet it seems like it only takes Rick five minutes to find some that another person has left behind.

The outlook of the show is too positive. The first episode of this season made me think that this time we'd see an enemy who would appear indestructible but all I see is someone who talks a lot, doesn't kill nearly as many people as he should based on his own "rules" and seems to run a group of people who all hate him as much as Rick's people do.

To be fair, guns aren't are exactly rare in America.

I just wish that for once the show wouldn't have Rick and his group appear to be super soldiers. Even when they're made to look beaten down they still seem to be quite lucky given the circumstances, first episode of the season and the end of last aside.

Gotta love Negan though.

Yeah I hope Negan isn't killed, I want him to keep being a thorn in Rick's side for much longer.

Who else should he have killed? I would say that Rosita is the only one.

I don't understand why we're supposed to see Negan as the villain. Rick's group have killed dozens of his people in cold blood, yet all Negan has done is killed a handful in retaliation and taken some of their stuff. Hell, he even drove Coral home after the little brat gunned down several of his men and then helped Rick out by gutting the bloke who was trying to have him killed. Negan seems a decent bloke imo.

Who did Rick's group kill in cold blood?
