Television The Walking Dead

I think it was already spoiled for me and this was months ago, some feck on imgur linked a pic from the comic. Additionally that stupid yank on TYT Sports revealed some spoilers for last season in a video which has nothing to do with The Walking Dead!:mad:
I will say to you is definitely don't search for anything walking dead related online today.

Only in the US though right? Think we have to wait until tomorrow night.
that's right. Can't wait to see it. It's easy to find out who has died though (spoilers) - so like someone says avoid searching for the walking dead online now...

They're not necessarily going down the same route as the comics, if that helps.

Actually looking forward to this, as annoying as it is.

Feck sake, watched 7 seasons of it and 6 seasons worth of episodes have been "ugh, wtf was that" whilst the other remaining episodes have been enough to keep me coming back

Yeah I put it for series record earlier and that's when it dawned on me that I've watched six seasons of this very mixed bag. How many more do you reckon?

Considering we are now beginning the seventh season, we know virtually feck all about where the outbreak comes from. I don't watch Fear the Walking Dead so maybe that show reveals a bit more but most shows would give a lot more clues as to how this situation came to be.

I watched the first few eps of FTWD but was too much of a faff acquiring it. Does anyone still give a shit how it started?
I liked how Cloverfield just had the monster there, no shite explanation.

Holy feck! Don't open until you know who dies.

RIP Glenn and the Ginger....two for one...didn't see that coming!

That was rough, I couldn't get in the same emotional state like i was in April but that was still rough.

my 2 favourite characters :( maggie's breakdown :( the sunday dinner scene with glenn jr :(

let me go back to sleep and process this

Negan

crazy bastard.

good to see Glen go just like his character, in a lame way... ill find you, with the eye popping out...

Great episode.

They obviously filmed an extra death scene as the one leaked in video yesterday didn't die. Hopefully they did negan bashing everyones head in and all that footage will be released one day and we can watch everyone get it.

Really impressive make-up work. The show gets a lot of stick, and some of it is deserved, but the way they present the really graphic and violent scenes is top-notch.

From Reddit:

Glen foreshadowing?

:(

Incredible episode.

The eventual death of Negan is going to be fantastic and one of the most satisfying TV deaths in a long time after that.

Sadly a lot of people on social media couldn't wait to post photos of the deaths so that kind of spoiled it for me, like it's a competition to try and be one of the first.
Seen loads of people say they were crying or they're heartbroken after watching this, get a grip. It's just a show.
Still a good episode though, Negan hopefully continues being a strong character, but as for that blonde bloke who hates Daryl I hope he gets killed off soon.
Shame about the arm, I was urging Rick on.

heh

Why are you still watching this show?

I dont think you have ever enjoyed an episode

I enjoy some of them. But it's also part of the zeitgeist so I might as well watch it as long as I can stand it. Think about how much more emotional impact those deaths would have had if they had happened during last seasons finale. When a show uses cheap cliffhangers to keep people coming back it's because they know the rest of their product is subpar.

Why would you go on social media? The only website I've been on since last night was bbc sport

Brilliant comment from Reddit:lol:

By the way, how shitty is the homecoming going to be for Tara?

Her girlfriend is dead. Two of the people she's probably closest to because of how she joined the group, Glenn and Abe, are dead. Even if she finds an orange soda, half of it belongs to Negan.

Ahh that was brutal!! Has to be the most engrossing Walking dead episode made. It was actually kinda satisfying someone give it to Rick for a change. As Negan said he's been King for to long!

That was possibly the toughest 45 minutes of a tv show I've ever watched. Feeling a bit empty after that.
Exactly how I feel

I don't get easily shocked, but it kind of feckin disturbed me

Not sure I've ever seen a more violent episode of any show before

The hand part I was sure it was gonna happen, and was thinking they had gone too far

Andrew Lincoln was on another level in that episode. A true, world class actor. I was on the edge of my seat for that entire episode!

Negan needs to kill at least another 4 of em.

It was a marvellously tense episode. Will probably be crap for the next couple of weeks and then good again ad infinitum.
