The Trump Presidency - Part 2

I wonder if it will be this year or next year that Putin invites himself to the White House and Trump rolls out the red carpet and vol-au-vants

feck that, Putin will be like the Commissioner in Police Academy and he will be sat behind the Resolute desk giving a TV interview while Trump is on his knees under the table giving him a blow job. All as the Hammer and Sickle flag flies proudly atop the White House as it's surrounded by a Spetsnaz unit.

Putin's got to be loving this.
If Europe doesn't come up with a strong united front in the next few days then UKR and eastern European countries can say bye bye.

You joke but I’m not. I think that will be on the agenda. Putin will want Trump to normalise him once more and reintroduce him to the west. It’s up to Europe and the rest of the West not to accept that.

We are decades of massive investments away from that happening. European defence capabilities have been almost completly destroyed in the last 30 years.

Europe is not well prepared militarily, for this moment, but, donating/selling their prime gear to Ukraine while building up on the homefront, should be enough to deal with Russia in Ukraine, should it not? Russia is on borrowed time in terms of economics.

Trump is a fool and just wants what he wants, he has no nuance and never has. Vance is a million times more dangerous. He was a never Trumper and took till the last day to decide if he wanted to be his running mate because he realised it's better for him - he is a smart man acting a certain way to get what he wants. He is more dangerous

When Trump spoke in the past he had people behind him cleaning up, what he now has is a bunch of people who know he is a fool and amplifying his stupidity for their own gain and detriment of others

Surely not, he seems like a right piece of shite, at least Trump has a funny dance.

Yeah, same was said of many clowns that ended up in office, and for the record, so did i, i thought US had learned its lesson, but last election proved me dead wrong.

Lindsey Graham held a press conference to say he's never been more proud of Trump.
You’d probably say that too if Trump’s people had the sort of material they’ve clearly got on Graham.

No, I agree with you mate. Completely. I do think Trump will invite Putin to the White House and/or Trump will visit the Kremlin.

Lindsey Graham held a press conference to say he's never been more proud of Trump.

Of course he was. fecking spineless weasel. No doubt Ted Cruz will come out and do something similar too. And MTG. I wonder if the Turtle will come out against Trump again? Not that that will make any difference at all.

It's so clearly all a setup to paint Zelensky as the bad guy for their sheep.
I heard this unfold on 5Live on the way home and Chris Warburton had a Trump supporting lady on for a reaction shortly after and you could hear his fury at her disingenuous bullshit.

I might hate Vance more than Trump.

Maybe it's just familiarity: I'm used to Trump but Vance's unique brand of condescending sliminess is utterly disgusting.
Right. And it puts us in the horrible position of desperately hoping Trump survives another four years so we don't have to see Vance become President by default. What a world.

He does I'm sure, though even with a strengthened Europe - a destroyed relationship with the US is still exactly what he would be more than fine with. The goal is to break the West as a cohesive front.

History will not judge these sycophants well.

Depends on who will write history he might be regarded between FDR and Kin jong il. What is true is that Trump will be a highlighted chapter in US history when he should be forgotten in the oblivion

That double team act was the most undignified showing that I have ever witnessed from any politician that I can remember.

I wonder what the fallout will be from all this in the end, things are escalating at a crazy pace now. I have a feeling that the damage to US soft power will hit them hard. Those 800 foreign military bases certainly aren't there just for altruistic reasons. The antipathy to the US will hurt their companies and the global economy as well. Not least their arms industry as European and other manufacturers will prosper. So much for the power of the military industrial complex, I mean they can hardly be happy about all this? A large reason countries bought F-35's was to stay on good terms with the US. Countries like Denmark recently did, but that didn't stop these clowns from threating invasion of their sovereign territory . There's a lesson to be learnt there.

I wonder if it could actually reach the point where Europe stopped buying oil in dollars and that they could lose the reserve currency status. Then shit would really hit the fan.

The 2020's has no chill at all.

Jesus, what a bunch of spineless cnuts, all taking turns fellatioing Don.
fecking disgusting.

I made the mistake of checking what r/conservatives say about it...they're thrilled. General view is we're not even allied with Ukraine, and without the US Zelensky wouldn't even have a country.

Putin won. He brainwashed an entire half a country.

I hate to say this but If a 9/11 type attack attack happened in America now. Would we all feel the same now then we did then? I feel so sorry for innocent american citizens under this regime
