I'm not a Muslim (or even a Hindu, I'm an atheist) but my first name is a Urdu word. I don't know if the list is by name or country or self-declared religion, but if it's by name I'll be on the list.

My wife's surname is straight Arab, and I was going to take it on as my middle name (need to get it done in court, city clerk wouldn't do it). So we'll be on there too. feck it, lets make it the cool kids list, BO will be on too.

Interesting point, as presumably if all a terrorist had to do to avoid being registered is lie about their religion...

Is there a betting market on him being impeached at some point anywhere?

A good first step to defeating radical Islam.

If you are innocent you have nothing to fear.

cue this is how Nazi Germany started posts..

The sad part is its true.

How about a radical Christian registry for the folks that bomb mosques?

There is nothing good about singling out a religion or its followers. If you want to defeat ISIS stop bombing Muslim countries, stop slagging Muslims off all the time and stop harassing Muslims that live in Western Countries. Have some respect and show them that their religion and beliefs will be respected on a par with any other religion.

That would be a far better start and far more effective than an antagonising Muslim register. But why the feck would the moron care about that? He's not even a Christian for fecks sake. He's about as religious as my cat. Knows about as much about the bible too.

I didn't realise, that's awesome!

His cabinet will be made up of Gingrich, Palin, Christie, Carson, Pence and Ted Cruz. I'm not sure he could have picked worse if he tried.

Mr Narcolepsy has declined the offer of a position saying that he "doesn't have Government experience" and "would be like a fish out of water" Ironically he has far more experience than many of the people that are actually taking jobs in the cabinet. I actually applaud Ben for that move, however I actually think that maybe he's a lot brighter than he appears at times. I mean, I know he's a leading neurosurgeon so he has to be very smart, but he hasn't shown that much during the Primaries or the election. I think maybe he doesn't like many of the people being employed? Or maybe sees it as being detrimental to his career? Or maybe sees that it's like a literal house of cards and just waiting to come crashing down and he doesn't want any part of it? Or he genuinely doesn't think he's up to the job, which I find incredibly hard to believe because he was running for President. Whichever it is though, it's definitely a smart play and an honourable decision.

Also, it's strongly being said that Christie isn't wanted anywhere near any position because of Bridgegate AND because the President elect's Son in law, Ivanka's husband Jared Kushner doesn't want Christie around because Christie sent his father to prison for tax evasion and witness tampering when he was District Attorney.

Meanwhile, his team haven't contacted the State, Defence and Treasury departments yet, among others.

They phoned me though and offered me the Secretary of Social Media position because they found all my tweets to him amusing during the election campaign. They originally wanted Denald to get it but he's going to Guantanamo on Social Media Terrorism charges. :(

I think you're overqualified for this administration.

I wonder how many innocent people need to be wrongly punished worldwide before people stop saying things as blatantly stupid and untrue as "if you are innocent you have nothing to fear".

I've seen an awful lot of stuff like this on Twitter and Facebook since the election. Also lots of other acts or offers of kindness on offer. I think John Oliver might have started something special. Not just him obviously, but his speech at the end of Last Week Tonight telling everyone to pull together has truck a chord, and it's nice to see that amongst all the negativity on show and all the confusion and uncertainty, there is a growing trend of people offering help to others less fortunate. Long may it continue. I also see that the safety pin wearing has taken off in the USA since the election too, as it did here after the EU referendum, yet more signs of unity and people trying to come together in times of uncertainty and distress.

Expect a Megyn Kelly tweet from Trump at some point.

Why's that mate? Has she been going after him again? I can't bring myself to watch any news since the election. The thought of those surrogates gloating makes my skin crawl, and the thought of Hannity, or should I say, Lumpy gloating, well I think I'd literally throw my telly out the window

She's doing the TV circuit to promote her book, where she talks about how he threatened her before the infamous debate last year. She will be on CNN in a few minutes. Once he sees that he may well fire up the Tweetbox.

Cool, thanks, will watch that before going to sleep. Just turned it on in time to see Ana Navarro going off on one again

Kinell, just watching Clinton's speech at the Children's Defence Fund right now, she was very good, especially considering the circumstances.

Ahh, shame CNN cut it short, would have loved to have watched that. Megyn Kelly was great on CNN though, I never used to like her much, but have a bit of a crush on her now. She's beautiful and exceptionally brave, and very smart.

Dude that last part where they spoke about her last convo with her dad being an argument... :(

:( That was very harsh. I'm surprised she didn't mention that before the first debate she drank coffee that was practically forced on her by someone she never met before, and she was violently ill straight after. So ill she actually had a bucket under the table while she was asking the questions at the debate. Yet another reason I admire her, that shows some serious professionalism and strength. But, it does beg the question as to was she spiked? in the hope she wouldn't moderate at the debate and wouldn't ask the idiot the question about his sexism and nasty comments to women. I certainly wouldn't put it past him to sort something like that out.

I find this absolutely incredible, mind boggling even as to why the feck was this not made more of before election night? And why the feck didn't it affect the vote? I also can't understand as to why it's still not getting the coverage it deserves and why the questions aren't being asked? I would have thought that something like this would be enough to call the whole election result in to question. It's just unbelievable that it's so blatant, but also that most people are just so blasé about it all. :wenger:
