Right, so the golf announcer from Augusta National is talking, when's Sessions on? LOL!

Does a Senator meet so many Ambassadors that he wouldn't remember when he's speaking to the more important/testy ones? Like Russia or China.

A buddy of mine who voted for Trump made a good point today in regards to Sessions...

If it were true that Sessions was just talking to the Russian envoy in his capacity as a Senator, then why cover it up the first time?

I'm sure you would remember clearly. I am also 100% sure he was lying his fecking arse off throughout that whole bullshit statement.

We need to call in some of the body language experts from the transfer forum. He looked like he was bullshitting to me!

FFS! He just said that Spicy and Trump "Don't know the ethics rules, most people don't"

 There you have it folks, it's ok they are not guilty of breaking the rules because they didn't know they were doing it.

If Trump was smart he would ditch sessions fast rather than holding onto a political battle he can´t win.

Regarding session all i will say is this: if you want to know a mans moral character then pay attention to if he speaks the truth when he has everything to gain from lying or if he speaks the truth when loses everything by doing so.

High risk strategy. If he throws someone under the bus everytime they get caught out, his team will start getting twitchy and questioning their loyalty.

That's the thing. He knew it looked dodgy (even if it really wasn't), and lied to congress as a result. Then he continually refused to recuse himself from the FBI investigation, despite having been a member of the Trump transition team, and having initially recommended Carter Page (another who had to leave the campaign due to Russia links) to Trump. There's enough smoke around him to suggest his pants are on fire.

"honest and correct as I understood at the time”

This man is the Attorney General ... if he does not know the law, who the hell does?!

This is so serious.... this guy was a lawyer his entire career, and long before he got onto Trump's radar. So what does it say about him and what does it say about Trump and his advisers who appointed him???

Don't forget Session's links with Manafort.

He claimed early last year that he has not known Manafort for long and said "he only gotten to know him in recent weeks".

Then Bloomberg reported in November that Sessions/Manafort have known each other since the 1970s.

I think it is a matter of only fighting the fights that you have a chance at winning rather than trying to fight every battle you come a cross. Session have put him self into this position on he´s own incompetence and most of the Trump administration know this and i doubt they want to fall down with him due to loyalty as most of them seems to extremely selfish only looking out for their own interests.

Greenwalds an odd one. He's written some great stuff but he so clearly wants fame. He's not actually an engaging speaker, seems to be wholly without humour and doesn't seem to be particularly nice and doesn't have a humble bone in his body.

If he just stayed behind a keyboard he'd be fine.

 A profile I read of him a while back I think started with "Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's wrong, but he's always an asshole."

Hard to keep track of all the stories going on today.

 Keeps getting better and better.

Surely cant be the same Kushner who so many people think is an innocent bystander in this administration?

"You're going to find out anyway"

At this point, to make it easier, could we just ask the Russians to be so kind and send over Amb. Kislyak's agenda, phone records and call notes? Think it would make it easier for everyone involved.

Has this been posted already? According to AP and to Kate Brannen, Sebastian Gorka has no secret clearance?!

At least after the election, they would have had the chance to learn them but didn't find it necessary.

Ben Carson about to become point man for HUD -

"Dr. Carson feels he has no government experience, he's never run a federal agency. The last thing he would want to do was take a position that could cripple the presidency."

And he was running for President

Looks that way

Its not a surprise to see him invited as diplomats are to events like this, but the notion is that US intel views Kislyak as a top spy recruiter and he's using the cover of being a diplomat to operate as a spy.

Though that's nothing new with spies using diplomatic titles to operate inside a hostile/unfriendly country as a spy. MI6 agent Steele did the same when posted as a diplomat in Russia.

 A profile I read of him a while back I think started with "Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's wrong, but he's always an asshole."

I see him on tv at times and he reminds me of when you'd see Ferdinand go for a wander. He'd pick the ball up and go past a forward, then a midfielder or two and just as hey got in the final third you see the realisation hit him: "I have no clue what the fcuk I'm doing right now"

I saw him on stage and it was an hour of very well thought out and well prepared talking points. In the Q&A session he just dissolved into a self promoting mess with very little substance to anything.

He just needs to stick to what he's clearly very good at. Investigate, write, edit, reword & report. That's it. Let the people that think fast do all of the talking head stuff. Some of the things he says off the cuff are just so far off the mark.

at least he isn't flip flopping on every single issue like most "journalists", whose reporting only depends on the party affiliation of the subject of their report.

I've never heard Greenwald outside his writing, occasionally his twitter feed, and a debate on privacy with the NSA chief Michael Hayden. Probably it's because I more-or-less agree with him but he was fine in all of them.
There was a bit of humour in his writing during the Bush years but his isolation when he was criticising Obama for drones and civil rights definitely made him bitter.

Wish the media would think a little before publishing their exclusive stories today. A lot of stuff being reported today is going to get buried and go under the radar.

Here's another one

He looks like he should be in one of the Austin Powers movies playing Fat Bastard's Russian cousin.

Reminds me of that Russian character played by Robbie Coltrane (very Russian actor, of course) in that Brosnan Bond movie.

I'd love it if, when one of Trump's admin staff holds a conference, there'd be scrolling footage of May Day parade missile carriers & tanks where the 'breaking news' flash ordinarily is (i.e. at the bottom of the screen).
