Well that was just his inauguration speech really. Reiterated some stuff and also retold numerous lies that he's been put right about. I think the only difference was that he didn't mention the media and Fake News.

Just read Trumps comments on Owens death. What a fecktard. Manages to blame the military and boast about himself in a split second.

“This was a mission that was started before I got here. This was something they wanted to do,” he said. “They came to me, they explained what they wanted to do ― the generals ― who are very respected, my generals are the most respected that we’ve had in many decades, I believe. And they lost Ryan.

“I can understand people saying that. I’d feel ― ‘What’s worse?’ There’s nothing worse,” he added. “This was something that they were looking at for a long time doing, and according to [Defense Secretary Jim] Mattis it was a very successful mission. They got tremendous amounts of information.”

Yeah, my point above. We are friends of friends with the family and he's milking it. It started with at last we have a President supporting the troops. I don't think they believe that any more. The last one supported the troops without telling people. This one graphs camera crews.

It's an odd feeling to absolutely hate the president. I know many hated the previous one, often because of his "unamericaness". I hate this one because he has no good will inside him, at all. It is all a charade. Let's hope he causes minimal damage.

Thing is...I think he'll get some of the economic stuff right and the upward trend that Obama started will accelerate under Trump.

But, I worry about the long term effects of his presidency. The things he and his supporters have normalized.

If you take the environment out for a moment, because that's where the real lasting damage could be done, but really think he could put relations with other countries in to serious jeopardy. On top of that it appears that they haven't learned a single lesson from the last recession. Actually, recession wasn't really the right word, world crash is more apt. They seem to be making the same mistakes again and yet again the rich will continue to get richer and aside from a few taking a bath when stocks and currencies crash, the vast majority won't be affected, yet the poor and working/middle class normal folks will suffer even worse this time. What could make it even worse is if these clowns destroy healthcare and take away peoples safety nets. The elderly and retired will suffer as their benefits are being clawed back, and pension funds are shrinking and drying up.

I fear Trump is being way too cocky and arrogant about the small signs of growth that have continued since he took office. Of course they started under Obama and continued nicely throughout his Presidency but the last thing the USA needs is manic spending and huge changes to things that are working well.
