Listen to Controversial White House Terrorism Adviser Sebastian Gorka’s Angry Call to a Critic
In a recording provided to Newsweek, Gorka threatened terrorism propaganda expert Michael S. Smith with legal action for criticizing him in a series of tweets.

Gorka is another charlatan. Plenty of hilarious stuff about him and his background in the press lately. Apparently Bannon saw him on a Fox guest appearance and gave him a job at Breitbart based on that, then nagged him as a WH advisor when Drumpf won.

In my working experience with the media, when you attempt to block, subvert, or delegitimize them because you feel their coverage about you is too negative, you are only inviting them to cover you in an even more venomous way. Trump and Bannon are going to regret this, since the media (including Fox) will galvanize and start to look even deeper into Trump's affairs.

I'm going to say it, Tony Blair and your very own Fergie pulled off similar tactics. Andrew Marr was rumoured to be sacked as editor of The Independent because of pressure from Blair/Campbell/Mandelson.

In both cases many reporters/papers fell in line, while some didn't, but that wasn't well publisised enough to hurt them.

Gorka is a fecking child. How do knobs like him gets jobs in office? Another nutter utterly obsessed with Twitter.

Tapper didn't pull any punches...
"Make no mistake about what's happening here," Tapper continued. "A White House that has had some difficulty telling the truth and has seemed to have trouble getting up to speed on the competent functioning of government and a President who seems particularly averse to any criticism and has called the press the 'enemies of the American people,' they're taking the next step in avoiding checks and balances and accountability."
It is "indicative of a lack of basic understanding of how an adult White House functions," he added.

Good, nor should he. Even Fox are outraged about this. Where will it end? And what's the endgame here? Do you think an olive branch will be extended by Trump? Given his petulance, you would have to think not, but this is just getting worse and worse and the relationship is deteriorating in front of the worlds eyes. Yet more embarrassment for Trump and co.

It isn't so much a case for Perez but a case against Ellison. If you operate from the belief that you can win elections purely by turning out the base then Ellison is the better pick, but putting him into the limelight with his baggages despite his progressive credentials might well be counterproductive on the long run, especially when there's no evidence that he actually has a unique talent for turning out voters.

Minnesota didn't lose a single D seat in the 2010 wave, and in 16 despite the #MAGA wave that took down even MI and PA still went safe Clinton. Claiming credit for high turnout is political doublespeak.

Tapper is clearly losing the plot a bit recently, which is not a good thing for journos. They need to keep it together when Drump attempts to change the subject with frivolous misdirection like the exclusion of media from his press gaggles and Bannon calling the media the opposition party etc. Fortunately CNN have kept their eyes on the ball and continued to lead their broadcasts with the Priebus/FBI meeting tonight.

Moreover, its encouraging that Drumpf is taking to desperate maneuvers - just goes to show he's hiding something and the media are getting progressively closer to the truth.

So it took Trump 5 weeks to go full dictatorstyle on the news. The fact that republicans and conservatives are excusing this behavior is mind boggling.

And he's off again..... This Fake News shit is getting extremely boring. The vast majority of people are well aware that these outlets do not promote fake news, and that he just calls any negative story about him fake, yet he just keeps on and on and on and on and on......... Surely he can't keep this up for 4 years? And surely this is all going to backfire on him? I certainly hope so anyway.

Actually a few of my conservative friends really do buy into the whole fake news rhetoric.
They also idolize Milo and think there is this grand conspiracy against him.

Having a FB exchange with my right-leaning friend. His response to my posting calling out Fox on its Nils Bildt fake story...

--Are you saying because Foxnews decided to use a fake title they made up that the guy himself is not credible? Have you not seen stories over the past few years from many different stories about the rise in crime, and the rise in immigrants? Are the two related? It is not mine to say as I have not studied it but it sure makes me thing. Have you not talked to anyone who is of Swedish heritage, has family over in Sweden still, or has visited there themselves?

There is an issue with rising crime in Sweden, and it is a well-documented fat that Sweden has led all European countries in opening their arms to immigrants since 1975. Sweden is now considered to be the "rape capital" of Europe....what a great thing to be known as....why has there been an increase in crime over the last few decades? I wish I was smart enough, and had the time to, to know the answer..but, rise in crime..largest increase in immigration in Europe? Is there a correlation? Makes me go "hmmmmm"--

He then posted a report from Gatestone Institute, the very one chaired by John Bolton! I had to let him know a little about Bolton and his "bomb the brown people" fallback plans.

Ha! I just replied with facts, and explained things. Probably won't matter to him.

That's the really sad part because it's impossible to win an argument with them. It's not just winning an argument anyway, it's reasoning too, I think that's the worst part to be honest. The complete inability to be able to even reach common ground or get a consensus with people because they not only just will not listen, but they absolutely refuse to accept the possibility of being wrong, or that certain sources of information are anything but completely false. I'm sure Trump must be close to breaking some laws? It's akin to brainwashing and in a way he's turning the Republican party, or at least his branch of it, in to a more of a cult than a political party.

He sees himself as some kind of messiah figure. He demands praise and adulation all the time, he repeatedly seeks out large gatherings of his supporters (all the recent rallies) even though there is absolutely no need or justification for them. He continually maintains only he knows the answers or has the solutions to problems, he gets extremely angry if anyone questions him and as we have seen he is now trying to silence them and cut them off from obtaining information. He refuses to listen to anyone else and thinks he knows better than the experts, and he is telling his supporters to not listen to them either and anything negative about him is branded false and if he doesn't get his way he becomes increasingly belligerent.

The more I think about it, the more this all makes sense. I agree he's fast becoming a Dictator like figure, but also like a cult leader and his supporters do act very much like brainwashed cult members suffering from Stockholm syndrome. That also might explain his obsession with Sweden. If he suddenly produces an E-Meter at his next Breitbart conference then we will know for sure.

More Republicans ducking their responsibility and can't face their constituents because they are shit scared and know they have been caught bang to rights. The Republicans really don't like being held accountable do they? They expect to be able to do what they like without repercussions. They are the first to constantly blame the Dems and hold them accountable when they make mistakes or break the law or do something they don't like or agree with, but they are cowards themselves. These town halls have been causing massive shockwaves throughout the country and one guy didn't turn up the other night so the protesters went and camped outside his house. It looked like there were hundreds of them outside his home. What with all this and with the way Trump is at the moment, it really does seem like there's two Republican party factions. The Trump Cult and the normal Republican Party and it's so fractured and to me it looks like it's all falling apart and getting worse and worse by the day.

On a similar note, little Marco can't stand the heat, too, and insults constituents. What a bunch of hypocritical feckers.
