One chap just asked Spicer about always telling the truth.

Now he's asking him if he wants to make some corrections. :lol:

Spicer's twisting it to be most watched rather than people attending.
 
Spicer seems to have found more of a groove, and has loonsened up a little

Still some questionable statements but he's just repeating the sentiments of his boss.

I'd compare it to CJ in The West Wing, apart from the fact that he's completely the opposite of her in basically every way.
 
Press Briefing does not feel like a first day at school. Feels like a Government Press Secretary is already under siege and its only day 1.

Yes! It is exactly that and Americans all across the country who think they're channeling the founding fathers state that belief all of the time, completely forgetting that the founding of our republic was a repudiation of things like divine right.

Yeah I keep seeing people saying to keep Barron out of it but, I have not actually seen anything aimed at Barron
 
Press are gonna need to take a new tack against Spicer, can't treat it like a normal press briefing after these performances.
 
There is something to fear about politicians who think they have been "chosen". Eamon De Valera once said something like, " If I wish to know what the Irish people want, I only have to look into my heart"

I think Blair felt the same and now Trump.

He's doing very well. I think his stuttering and pissy attitude from the weekend was because he knew he was being told to argue bullshits about the crowd.
 
Spicer now clarified that he meant total audience in terms of who attended and watched it on tv and online. He looked uncomfortable saying it though.

At last the CNN guy gets a question and is asking him why bring up the crowd size issue. :lol:

That was an interesting nugget about social security. i'll start to feel a little encouraged if Trump goes against what Ryan and the Tortoise want to do with SS.
