Nobody knows more about shoe throwing than me!
SHOE!Nobody knows more about shoe throwing than me!
That's terrifying. What would be the result of all this in the long term? Civil war? A mass exodus by more liberal minded people from the US? I sure as hell would feel like getting the hell out of a country turning full third world banana republic. This was a rather interesting read on Vox

We could very well be heading to a constitutional crisis if the GOP don't quit moddycoddling Trump, he has some very ardent weirdly loyal fans like Gaetz.

It's the young children I feel sorry for.Another telegram from Deadwood:
'He wears the armor of God': evangelicals hail Trump's church photo op
'Many of Trump’s evangelical supporters, far from Washingtons political stage, saw the move as a victory in a world rife with evil.
“My whole family was flabbergasted,” said Benjamin Horbowy, 37. “My mother just shouted out, ‘God give him strength! He’s doing a Jericho walk!’”
A Jericho walk, in some evangelical circles, refers to the biblical book of Joshua, where God commanded the Israelites to walk seven times around the opposing city of Jericho, whose walls then came crashing down.
“My mother started crying. She comes from Pentecostal background, and she started speaking in tongues. I haven’t heard her speak in tongues in years. I thought, look at my president! He’s establishing the Lord’s kingdom in the world. It was the coolest thing he could do. What more could he do, wear blue jeans and ride in on a horse? I believe it’s like Ephesians 6:10 through 1. I believe this is a president who wears the full armour of God.”'

It's a cartoon to get at trump. It's not a piece of history to be stored in the library of Congress.Nixon doesn't belong there. He had the WH ringed with buses so that anti-Vietnam protesters were kept away.
If the four richest blue states starved the federal coffers for a while the red states would crumble and I would love to see that happen. That's terrifying. Like Plech's All Turn to Kopites, I could never match up to ^that.^Good to hear The Guardian have hired you to write satire for them... right?
Wow really? He's rapidly becoming upper-echelon worst GOPers, with Gaetz, Cruz and McConnell.Tom Cotton said last week that Asian students should only be allowed study "Shakespeare or the Federalist papers" not anything STEM related. Tells you everything you need to know about the dumb Republican. Red states are a fecking poison to this country to the point that they need a knee on the throat.
Also saw his press sec said the police that attacked the Australian news crew "had a right to defend themselves".
Against a film crew just standing there. Trump's quote about being able to shoot someone in 5th Avenue and have no consequences is basically truth now.
Ironically, it could be argued that, although he was very often even-handed regarding criticism, studying Shakespeare's plays might undermine people's faith in hoary institutions & associated leaders (i.e. monarchy, government, Trump-esque rulers etc etc).Shakespeare or the Federalist papers. Those two great American exports.
he would say this right after the throw when he has a great but boot mark on his forehead.FAKE SHOES!

Yeah, like during the impeachment.oh yeah, Murkowski. she can always be depended on to do the right thing.
Holy fecking shit!
LOUD NOISES!!
ts definitely going to reach boiling point though, with Trump continuing to fuel the flames and escalate the matter.
It was already part of his election campaign, whenever protesters or journalists were thrown out of his rallies - turns out that was just the rehearsal for when things get serious.I didnt think we would actually reach this stage where he is encouraging his supporters to physically assault any of his 'opponents' but there have been several obvious messages over the last week that plainly show that is his plan.
If there was any doubt he's deeply in the pocket of America's enemies, it should be absolutely clear now. Mattis' comments were spot on.
