That's exactly what it read like.
The US is being destroyed little by little each day. All empires fails eventually, but the way this is going down is just plain ridicoulus. It's like a bad comedy that never ends.

I enjoyed the "Forfar 4 East Fife 5" bit.
Narcissism. When they see the blame waves coming, along with a lot of questions about their responsibility for the things they said or have done; they deflect then slink off to a corner to nurse their wounds. He knew those reporters were there to bombard him about his "shooting starts" tweet, along with his terrible job at managing the pandemic. Right now, with the violence in Minneapolis, a pandemic, high unemployment, a stock market that could tank at anytime; he really doesn't want to face the cameras. His safe space right now is Twitter and that is now becoming a problem for him. He also knows that he's behind in the polls and the Presidency is the only thing keeping him out of a possible prison term.
Nonetheless, Trump is doing what he must do to keep his core base of supporters happy. They're all he has at the moment.
I'm sure he's familiar with the term corporate malfeasance. Very familiar, no doubt.

Every time I was about to chuckle he said something even more bonkers, so I think he actually left me in a state of shock more than anything else.
