Not really true, though. For decades hydroxychloroquine was used as a drug with very little sideeffects and now magically people are up in arms about it? Unlikely.
In addition all hydroxychloroquine + Covid studies right now have shown the same thing. It doesn't work when it is used late, it works quite well if it is used early on - including the italian study that found out that people with a certain illness (think it was lupus, but dont pin me on it) who use hydroxychloroquine have been unaffected by Covid.
