How the reporters, or anyone else in that room for that matter, can sit there and not call him out for being a complete fecking moron is seriously impressive. I know we're all used to it by now and we expect him to say insane things whenever he opens his mouth, but he still tops whatever batshit crazy thing he said yesterday pretty much every single day! How the feck did the world come to this?

I don't think I've ever underestimated someone's stupidity as much as I did Trump's, and I thought he was the most stupid person I've ever come across when he started his campaign 4 odd years ago, but I was waaaay off. It's like a really bad script writer wrote a B-movie parody that would feature Adam Sandler as a mentally challenged President but he never even let anyone read it because he was so ashamed how fecking terrible it was. Only this is actually real life.

Yeah, I mean I know he deflects and slips his way out of most things, but how there isnt one reporter competent enough to nail him on this is unbeliveable actually.

It's fear - they know they will be outcasted from the inner circle of journalists who get to go to the White House - as a result they have no credibility - nevermind all the medical experts just sitting there and letting him say shit - they need to get up right after he stops talking and tell him to his face he is talking utter shite but they wont because they know he fires them immediately if they do that.

Sums up my feelings as well.

As for the reporters it seems like it's impossible to argue with him, not because he's right, but because he ignores facts and starts spewing abuse at you. Kinda hard environment to work in, maybe they should start rotating the journos they send on a weekly basis to avoid exhaustion - like many embassies in Kabul and Islamabad. New fresh faces to confront the bullshit every week.

I've said it before, but to really understand how utterly inept, incompetent, and truly dumb this motherfecker is you have to read a transcript from one of his speeches. Listening to him is bad enough, but it's only when you read a transcript can you truly appreciate it. Here's part of it:

And I think you said you’re going test that too. Sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number in the lungs. It would be interesting to check you’re going have to use medical doctors with that, but it sounds interesting to me. And so we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s pretty powerful.

Fauci is the guy who has been getting a lot of screentime, I've only noticed Birx the last 2/3 days. I'm not following this stuff religiously.
