Worse than that, it’s the democratic governed states he’s targeting who were having the tightest responses. He’s causing chaos there for two reasons:

Firstly he’s trying to turn the people against the Democrat politicians.

Secondly, and this is the sickest, he’s trying to sabotage the social distancing measures to ensure that Democrat governed states do not come out of this with the best statistics. He’s letting his deplorable zombies propagate the virus around the state for GOP political benefit.

And of course the ironic thing is that he'd dump the GOP without a second's thought if he felt this would empower or enrich him.

America is an absolutely baffling and enraging country. I don't even know where to begin. These people are so so so so stupid, it would be hilarious if they all caught the virus.

Shock horror most of them are wearing Trump hats. I wonder what the common denominator is between brown-nosing him and wanting freedom from a virus.
 
Also ironic that a country well known for its slave trade is obsessed with freedom to do whatever you like.
 
It feels like every new tweet is more appalling than the last. What happened to you, America? Or was it always like that, and the tv/hollywood/music media domination just managed to cover the cracks by making it seem grander, and less close minded?
 
Trump's love for the "Poorly educated" and the lack of funding in education (which was apparent even before Trump got voted in) in these area's is one of the many reasons places like this are going nowhere but backwards. So I have abit of sympathy for these area's. They've been pushed to the side continuously and now they're rebelling in the name of Trump. But Trump's not helping them. He's abusing them. Taking complete advantage of their ignorance,xenophobia and homophobia.

Trump likely has utter contempt for these people but he knows he can gain their vote so he plays up to them with these naff rally events.
 
I love living in this country, my wife and kids are American and in all fairness I've probably come across the same number of dickheads in my native Ireland. But the stupidity, blatant disregard for facts and sheer hypocrisy in this country is on another level. Everything tells me we should pack up and leave but I'm optimistic about what could be around the corner for this country.
Being a dumb cnut used to get you only so far but if you say you are a Republican and can own a lib or two you you can get to the top in this country. It's so fecking juvenile.

It bothers me quite a bit that they use the "you go to work, why can't I go to work" as the representative quote for that video, when that same person also yells "you want communism, go to China!". It gives you the initial impression that these people may be somewhat reasonable.
 
The problem isn't that there are people with idiotic opinions. That's always been the case.

The problem is the state of the media and the internet push these opinions into the popular discourse, and give them relevancy.

America has always been a country that has a whimsical love of the snakeoil salesman, the bravado or chutzpah of lying their way to success. The issue appears to be that the truth isn't necessary to succeed*, and therefore it's no longer more important than one's opinion.

*as long as you have a huge sack of daddy's inheritance to risk
