If you got rid of every single one of these people, banned them from press access, starting with Max Boot and Bill Kristol, the world would be better for it. The only worthwhile person on that list (at first glance) is Chris Hayes.

I, too, have evangelicals in my family who will blindly vote for Trump regardless of whatever he & his administration does. They reside in Mississippi which should explain a lot. They also worked on Pat Buchanan’s campaign in 1992 & supported David Duke. My cousin, one of their offspring, is mentally handicapped. My cousin has definitively benefited from both state & federal aid & resources during her life.
They see nothing wrong with this, they are glad that there are government officials who are proactively looking to cut fat off of the government. They don’t care that the amount was not even as much as a accounting rounding error. I was nauseous after that texting session.
I don’t interact very much with that side of the family, obviously.

Not sure if that Twitter handle from Sanders is an official governmental one or not, it would be even worse if it is. Albeit small relating to other funding (but undoubtedly more than the $19 million being discussed here), but I wonder if Betsy is looking to trim or eliminate the federal funding that charter schools & their districts get? She definitely won’t defund any charter schools that thump in the same rhythm as her, in fact, she wants more of them.
