The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Unbelievable. What a fecking khunt. How, at his age, after all these years that knob doesn't have even a rudimentary understanding of climate change is an indictment on everyone around him - either by not making the khunt understand, calling him out on it, or just doing us all a favor and murdering his orange arse.

Have they released his medical report yet?

Stephen Miller and Trump are in full racist mode this morning.

Well mr. trump, it seems that you're policy of stealing their children and prosecuting people who leave water out for them is not a strong enough deterrent.
I suggest we prosecute the employers and any manager or supervisor who hires them, take away their children and exempt them from due process. Let's see how the trump kids and grandkids get on in an empty Walmart with threats of violence if they talk to the media.
What a pack of dirty cnuts and when this shit is over I hope someone goes after Miller and makes his life a fecking misery.

The tweet implies that Latin Americans are, by default, bad/threatening people. He's disgraceful.

Has absolutely no filter. Will say and do whatever the feck he feels... Needs that base to stay loyal.

He clearly thinks tweeting amounts to "working"

"When the term Executive Time is used, I am generally working, not relaxing."

Given that the Executive Time is used between 0800 and 1700, then I would hope that he is exclusively working. The fact that he says he is "generally' working shows that he is frequently relaxing.

Also,

In fact, I probably work more hours than almost any past President.....

It's a testament to Americas broken educational system that the president can post like that and still have over ~2% support.

Either that or a whole lot of fecking lead in a whole lot of fecking pipes.

I mean it's not like other presidents before him beat the Nazi's, Japanese and a depression all at once...

He must've spent that Executive Time abolishing civil rights.

A bit of both, and US media.
To be fair, they might have worked less but achieved much more ;)
Or he might just be chatting shite...

But there used to be good media too. No country I know of ever had such a wealth in quality newspapers (there used to be one in every major city, often even multiple), radio stations, even TV channels. Fox News dominates because the people choose it , not because there's no other options available to them. People choose listening to the likes of Bill O'Reilly over reading people like Robert Caro.

I'm sure there's great journalists working now too, but they don't make it into the limelight, they have no say in the national discourse (as far as I can tell).

(In fairness there's good education too, I was just voicing frustration, the cause for this mess will need explaining for a very long time)
Eriksson rejoins the dark side

One of the replies to that bring me to another topic: Has there ever been this bad of an ass kissing administration in modern history? Trump can (and does) say the most outrageous things and his cronies will line up for CNN and FOX to defend him.

Rasmussen has always been a strong GOP lean. Wouldn't be surprised if they are cooking the books a bit on Trump's behalf since he was as low as 43 with them just two weeks ago.

All pollsters cook the books. When you pay them to conduct a poll, you're paying for the result you want. The pollsters know how to use personal data to ensure their call list will achieve their client's desired result. It's not like they do this for free.

Not sure if all of them do since many polls actually have good reputations and a high historical degree of accuracy, which is why sites like FiveThirtyEight give pollsters various A to F ratings in terms of how they weight their polling averages. Rasmussen however, has a fairly shady past which is reflected by their C+ rating.

An aggregate can be useful though.

FiveThirtyEight had a greater than 1 in 3 chance of Trump winning, and is bizarrely still hated by Trumpers (presumably due their lack of understanding regarding basic math). Both of those metrics recommend it highly.

Even that’s high. Considering what has gone on recently, particularly the long shutdown that he lost miserably, I cannot and will not believe that getting on for half the population think that he’s doing a good job. Some of these poll results recently have seemed quite ridiculous. This is an interesting read...before you all begin to believe those numbers.

That's a great read and very informing read.

On the eve of the election, Alex’s house burned down and he lost almost everything, including his final batch of campaign flyers. He suspected that the blaze could have been election-related, but local fire-department officials said that they saw no evidence of foul play. A former Psy-Group official told me, “I never initiated any physical fire on any project whatsoever.”

Coincidence, i'm sure .

How are his approval numbers so volatile? I really don't understand how it can swing 10+ points now and again, when he's consistently a fecking moron doing a terrible job.
