They should have said, 'I don't understand Mr President I thought Mexico are paying for the wall?'
Yeah but it would have been better if Chuck and Nancy had said it there live on TV.Look at some of the responses to Cruz's tweet.

Yeah but you wind the child up and let him blow his top. It would have been good tv.Think they did not want to look like idiots like Trump.

I liked the one where someone referred to Mike Pence as 'Weekend at Bernies'.Look at some of the responses to Cruz's tweet.
If he's watching FOXNews then its likely they haven't mentioned it.Why hasn't he tweeted about Cohen yet?

"Michael Cohen condemned?Only the CNN is reporting it. Fake news at it again! No collusion! #SAD!".If he's watching FOXNews then its likely they haven't mentioned it.
Has he ever replied to a tweet ?Tweet him and ask.
Of course not, he's a busy man that President.Has he ever replied to a tweet ?
Inside his head I wonder if he truly feels he's never done anything illegal or wrong.
Is that what narcissists and sociopaths think - they've never done wrong/have no empathy?
It's kind of comforting to me to know that he is raging, throwing shit around, unable to even leave his personal quarters in the WH. I want him feeling trapped and paranoid in the place that he stupidly and selfishly believed he was fit enough to occupy. He spent years digging at Obama, thinking he could do better and has instead shown the world that he is a small man, completely inept and unprepared to do the job that Obama did with such ease, grace and competence. It's a spectacular failure that will resonate for generations andI hope the rage and self-loathing eats him up slowly and leaves him broken and alone, occupying a small cell in Federal prison.
Is it comforting to know then if he's impeached that his support will still be disillusioned and the majority of left leaning folks will still be disillusioned from voting for the next corporate shill nominated for their party? Will bringing down Trump solve the problem? How many members of government on both sides do you think are clean from crime? And how long for the clean ones to become corrupted? When Trump is destroyed will America do what it needs to make real change or will it allow the people who enabled this to carry on in their roles? Will you abandon being a 2 party dictatorship? When will the democrats abandon the party that has promised so much but delivered so little? Will America move to take the money out of politics? Can America realise that Trump is just the tip of a completely corrupt system?
Just replying to your post not directed just at you and no aggression meant. From the outside looking in Trump has just highlighted an awful money friven system and I despair that America will take down Trump but not use it as a lesson to attack the root of the problem.
These are very valid questions but maybe they should be in a new thread? We have over 2000 pages in this thread and I think we all deserve to enjoy what seems to be the start of the downfall of Trump&co (and hopefully the end) before we move on to worry about the bigger picture post-Trump.
The US Politics or the 2020 Presidential Election threads are suitable for this discussion if you want to continue thatNoted my friend. Perhaps a thread for the aftermath and like the rest of you I hope he, his family and his cronies are taken down ASAP.

For some reason I have a ugly feeling that the US will end up in a civil war of some kind over the political split in the country.
On another note, thanks to those following this thread who give us condensed updates from time to time. At least I feel like I know something instead of nothing about what is going on.

He'll do and say anything to get this bug out of his head
Don't think so. When Trump is gone his supporters will disappear and the old normal GOP voters will come back. For some reason I have a ugly feeling that the US will end up in a civil war of some kind over the political split in the country.

The old normal voters didn't go silent from what I've seen, it's more like they've exposed their true self and while you could hope that they reel in their views a little I doubt anyone will be able to see them as "just the other side" again.Don't think so. The idiots that follow Trump around were there before Trump and will be there after him. I still remember the woman on TV saying she didn't trust Obama because of that Hussein business, meaning the fact that his middle name is Hussein. Trump just riled em up and now that they're riled up it might take some effort to rile them down again.
Trump is like the human equivalent of Youtube. He didn't make the people worse, he just exposed how bad people are. Because like it or not, there is a feck tonne of people who support and share Trump's insidious (dunno if that's the correct term, but I just saw the movie and think it's a cool word) world views.
Yeah that's true, but I think that's a logical result of the fact he brought them together. 10 separate Trump supporters are bad, but put them all together in one room and they're much worse than the sum of their parts. They're like fratboys, but without the education.I agree for the most part, but I think he does make them worse as he gives them a platform and the courage to be the utter cretinous flogs that they are.
I watched a documentary about Arizona elections (Senate) sometimes ago where they interviewed some republicans. All of them were gonna vota the Dems because they didn't recognize the GOP anymore. The old normal voters didn't go silent from what I've seen, it's more like they've exposed their true self and while you could hope that they reel in their views a little I doubt anyone will be able to see them as "just the other side" again.
And that is before taking into account that it seems like people are getting more fed up by the republicans way of ignoring what policies can do to stop public shootings. Something has to break, somewhere.
