On a related plane, The movie ‘22 July’ (or July 22) probably hit harder (via Netflix) than those kids. I don’t think anyone could name a single one of them by name, not pick three of them from a line up of 6 people. Nor the shooter. Nor the location. When pushed, I’d guess that most would think they were the faces of the Vegas shooting (Most famous shooting combined with most famous shot-at faces).
A larger global audience could name characters and the criminal from ‘July 22’.
My heart goes out to every single victim but ‘Time Person of the Year’ to a bunch of kids that are irrelevant to almost everyone would be beyond stupid.

Nah. Ordinary people buy refined petroleum products. The captains of industry can charge what they want for those and cite whatever bogus reason they want as to why their price doesn't reflect the current per barrel price of crude. As usual, the wealthy will benefit more than your average Joe.
Not for jobs for his base that he needs to lock down like in Texas and Pennsylvania. It's a huge job creator both directly and indirectly for knock-down blue collar jobs.
Keeping oil & gas prices high enough to prod along production is important for him.
