Because of the mid-terms?

He seems to always be at a rally though. I never read about Obama doing rallies all the time, he was too busy doing, you know, President stuff.

Yep, its normal for a president to do rallies a few weeks before the mid-terms. Trump's taken it to a whole new level though and has been doing them since he became president, as he's insecure and needs the adulation of the crowd.

Jeez. Worrying stuff. Total psycho really. Mueller's finale will be spectacular.

Massive investigation by the New York Times documents how Fred Trump basically subsidized his son along with the Federal government on his way to conning his way to get rich.

"The president has long sold himself as a self-made billionaire, but a Times investigation found that he received at least $413 million in today’s dollars from his father’s real estate empire, much of it through tax dodges in the 1990s.

“He is tall, lean and blond, with dazzling white teeth, and he looks ever so much like Robert Redford. He rides around town in a chauffeured silver Cadillac with his initials, DJT, on the plates. He dates slinky fashion models, belongs to the most elegant clubs and, at only 30 years of age, estimates that he is worth ‘more than $200 million.’”

So began a Nov. 1, 1976, article in The Times, one of the first major profiles of Donald Trump and a cornerstone of decades of mythmaking about his wealth. How could he claim to be worth more than $200 million when, as he divulged years later to casino regulators, his 1976 taxable income was $24,594? Donald Trump simply appropriated his father’s entire empire as his own.

In the chauffeured Cadillac, Donald Trump took The Times’s reporter on a tour of what he called his “jobs.” He told her about the Manhattan hotel he planned to convert into a Grand Hyatt (his father guaranteed the construction loan), and the Hudson River railroad yards he planned to develop (the rights were purchased by his father’s company). He showed her “our philanthropic endeavor,” the high-rise for the elderly in East Orange (bankrolled by his father), and an apartment complex on Staten Island (owned by his father), and their “flagship,” Trump Village, in Brooklyn (owned by his father), and finally Beach Haven Apartments (owned by his father). Even the Cadillac was leased by his father."

Check the thread out. He's gone off the deep end yet again, to the point where he's still bitching about how his inauguration crowd size was reported. Attacking Doctor Ford again too. How the feck can this guy still be President?

So maybe the rumours about his mental health weren't so wrong

NYT should have held back on that tax article for a couple of weeks. It's basically saying they have proof he committed tax fraud but it won't get much attention while the Kavanaugh stuff is going on.

As any decent outlet, they shouldn't bring political calculations into their reporting. It's up to the Dem to keep hammering.

Nice, two major articles questioning his wealth, he'll be seething this morning. Feel bad for the staffers, oh wait they're enabling the destruction of their nation, no sympathy here!

Showtime are to air another in their Fourth Estate series all about this on Sunday too.

Same but I didn’t want to say it lest I get some men in suits knocking on my door.

Well I'm from Melbourne so they'd have to travel a long way to get me. feck Trump, he's a plague on this planet and he's taking the piss out of everyone.

None here either. All you have to do in this administration is take it off his desk and the problem is solved.

Doesn't deny it.

I'm sick of hearing about his election win. He was within the margin of error all through the campaign. The reason why everyone got it wrong was because the majority of people that voted or planned on voting for him were embarrassed to tell anyone. He is basically that wet monday morning beer and kebab fart that you successfully and silently released in work. You don't admit you did it but it lingers around until even you wish you didn't do it.

Doesn't deny it.

I honestly read the piece in the NYT and thought - Big fecking Deal. Who cares?

The US media are fools. Fed up with the approach of CNN & MSNBC and the newspapers now. Pathetic. No joint up effort

I don't get. The NYT isn't a political organisation. Their job is to report the news and a president doing what he did is news worthy. Your call for a joint effort is out of place. News outlets shouldn't be involved in things like that.
