Trump only understands transactions that work in one direction. He’s always been a consumer with buying power. He’s completely lost with the concept that he’s now not only the consumer who has to cut a sweet deal for himself but simultaneously sell an equal product back in the other direction. It’s exponentially more complicated, especially when you consider it’s not his goods being bought and sold.
