Hinting at the wall again, even after such a tragedy.
Is that the first time he's used "radical islamic terrorism", or has that been a thing for a while?
He's gone all in. They have to decide whether to call his bluff or fold. Game on.The most entertaining thing is that Trump and co are right now agonising over whether it's a bluff

Think it's pretty obviously a bluff. A bit of showmanship from the lawyer to get more attention and test team Trump. If she had video of them, she would have definitely brought it up during the initial NDA to increase her bargaining power.
My guess is it'll be something minor like a recorded call or text messages.
To be fair, that's one of the reasons the whole 'drain the swamp' (cheers Cambridge Analytica) resonated so well in the first place. If that's true then, while hilarious, it seriously points to how broken the system is. I've never understood how they could push through what is basically the law of the land while having often none of the people voting on it and in this case even signing the damn thing never even reading it.
Why are these things so often pushed through at the last second? It's absolutely absurd that they don't have a set period of time that allows everyone to go through the bill so that they actually know exactly what's in it..
But its brilliant. Play on his child-like, overclocked imagination.Think it's pretty obviously a bluff. A bit of showmanship from the lawyer to get more attention and test team Trump. Reaching to his base.
The thing is though, in the court of public opinion the only thing that matters is that Trump hasn't responded and looks weak. It was lamentable during the election that so few journalists called Trump out on his utter, utter bullshit and let him get away with saying ridiculous stuff. Avenatti is just playing him at his own game in this respect.
Court of public opinion doesn't matter because this isn't hurting him with his base. I actually think this is the one time Trump's done well by not responding. Any seasoned politician would deny and then remain silent while it played out in court.
I suppose he has to remain quiet because the whole defense is he didn't know anything about the payment. Avenatti's probably hoping for the opposite and trying to bait him into talking.
He's kinda damned himself there."Fame & fortune will NEVER be turned down by a lawyer"

You don't think his base will think he's weak here? The man who "never settles", who has always claimed he'll sue the pants off people who wrong him, now suddenly as quiet as a mouse?

I love how he always inserts NO COLLUSION to his tweets.
This also means he 100% can't find a lawyer. #oppositeworld
