I have to say, I do admire the man's obstinate refusal to bend to public opinion, and do what he feels if best. Even if what he feels is best is utterly idiotic. A lot more politicians (with common sense of course) could do with that kind of backbone.

In other news, the gains made in the stock markets have been halved in the last two weeks, the dollar is falling fast and the USA has the worst trade deficit since 2008. With Trump borrowing more and more and unemployment rising again this really isn't going to be pretty.
With the Kelly shit, Porter trouble and the Dems memo too, the problems are really growing fast now. I think we are finally witnessing the beginning of the end. It does feel like it's reached a breaking point now. His Tweets and tv comments on Porter have really upset people too. Ironic that it all comes a week after he recorded his highest ever approval rating. He just can't help shooting himself in the foot.

It's insane. Also reported today was he now gets his daily intelligence briefings in person rather than having to read them like every other President has done. It's likely because not only has he an amazing short attention span and it's doubtful he can read with big words included, it's clear he wouldn't understand what he was reading so has to have it explained to him. And I bet it's so he can interrupt or cut the meetings short as we all know he often Tweets during his briefings now as well.
But Yeah, the USA is in safe hands. Just very tiny ones.

It’s horrible to think this way about the most powerful man in the world, but his supporters don’t, so why should he.
I hate having so little respect for someone who has so much power to do so much good, not only in his own country but around the entire world.
It is so depressing seeing not only the corruption and abuse but the disrespect for everyone and everything. The dangers are huge too and it's just so upsetting to think what has happened over the last 18 months/2 years or so.
Another huge disappointment is how spineless and vicious the Republicans are in equal measure. Spineless as in they just point blank refuse to stand up to Trump yet are vicious with their policies.
The supporters are also extremely depressing but they are like cult followers with Trump their leader.
The only up side I can find is that not only is this all exposing the worst members of society so they are easy to spot then avoid, it's also exposing the most corrupt and worst members of Government too.
