"To the extent the memo deals with the dossier and the FISA process, the dossier has nothing to do with the meeting at Trump Tower," Gowdy said. "The dossier has nothing to do with an email sent by Cambridge Analytica. The dossier really has nothing to do with George Papadopoulos' meeting in Great Britain. It also doesn't have anything to do with obstruction of justice."

Gowdy was one of several lawmakers to say over the weekend that the memo did not vindicate the President.
Old Rowdy Gowdy isn’t having it.

I normally can’t stand the guy, but he’s right here.

He literally shot down the entire purpose of creating the memo in less than 60 seconds. Must be nice to not be seeking reelection to where you can speak honestly.

"an email sent by Cambridge Analytica."

What's this about?

"an email sent by Cambridge Analytica."

What's this about?
Julian Assange, editor of Wikileaks, said Wikileaks was approached by data firm Cambridge Analytica in 2016 about potentially working together about the release of Hillary Clinton's deleted emails. Cambridge Analytica's CEO Alexander Nix, the Wall Street Journal first reported, was emailed by Trump donor Rebekah Mercer asking if they might be able to better organize the release of Hillary Clinton emails by Wikileaks.

Jared Kushner's property empire had to thrive under Trump, right? Wrong
The first son-in-law has run into trouble with some high-profile buildings but has rejected claims that debts could sink him:

Kushner Companies has dropped efforts to raise $150m from Chinese investors for a New Jersey building project, One Journal Square, which attracted accusations of attempts to leverage ties to the Trump administration.

Through the controversial EB-5 visa programme, Chinese investors committing more than $500,000 can gain admittance to the US. A presentation on the Kushner project in Beijing, given by Jared Kushner’s sister Nicole Kushner Meyer, included an image of Donald Trump and advertisements that mentioned “government support” and “celebrity developers”.

Stable genius...just like Red Rum.

He's gone off on the NHS today because of an interview Farage gave to Fox & Friends. The fight against UHC has begun and the propaganda war is well and truly under way now.

Feck I've only been reading the replies for 2 minutes and I'm fuming and also on the verge of tears. The lies and paranoia is disgusting. People are just flat out talking bs about something they have no clue about. It's infuriating and saddening.

The fact that a Corn Syrup adviser is involved in setting up USDA dietary guidelines is alarming. Corn syrup is by far the most damaging thing in the food chain right now and is directly responsible for obesity.

Farage went abroad to talk down our country? How are his little gimp followers processing that one?

I dunno, he's been doing it for years. He so wanted to be part of Trumps cabinet. Some of what he said was actually fair but a lot was absolute shite. Typical far right Bullshit, so I expect his supporters will be ok with him for that.

Where does one even start to get an 'ethics waiver'? Give me one and I'll be set for life.
It's like an indulgence granted by the Pope. Or Dope, in this case.

yup - I doubt he is ever going to visit us over here as surely he must know the reception that awaits

How can he say that? I don't live in the UK, but I don't know any European Country where are marches to abolish their NHS, even the minorities who don't like it don't dare to say abolish it. How can they get away with this, and the UK polititians don't say nothing about their NHS?

Consider that a shot across the bow as to how opponents of Single payer will react to any Presidential candidate attempting to run on it. Socialism + just look at how Europeans are struggling with their health care etc.

There ARE marches at the moment BUT in favour of the NHS and people wanting more funding not cuts. In truth they are protesting the right wing Tory government useless feckers who want to line their own pockets by gutting the NHS to help it fail so they can then privatise it and turn it in to a system like the US has. Ruthless feckers. /rant over. My apologies. Bad day today and feeling rough as hell.

But probably Farage was bashing the NHS on FOX News, right?

Instead of using Europeans, maybe the single payer supporters should use the Canada or Australian example, but I can already imagine the antis saying how many Canadians have to cross the border to save their lives. Hard to discuss rationaly when the other side manipulates things so agressively.

Yes and no. As I said in my earlier post he did make some valid points and he was actually (As to be expected) more against immigration and was saying that the influx of foreigners is the reason the NHS is failing. Which is partly true, extra population hasn't helped but not fair to blame it all on immigration when severe cuts, waste, mismanagement and Tory policy are more to blame.

As I said, and as @Raoul just said, It's been twisted and used now as the start of the propaganda and smear war against single payer and the Dems in the USA. Expect to see lots more right wing Brits on US telly talking shite about the NHS just to further the agenda against universal healthcare.
