Yup. It's not even a recent phenomenon. He's been using birtherism for almost a decade and just finds new ways to phrase it if he needs to.
Very true, but all responsible media outlets need to just continue to bang it home, as does social media too. In that sense it's anyone who cares job to link the truth to the bullshit articles or comments they find on Facebook or Twitter.

In a way it is true because so many people have simply stopped believing in them. Don't like that the actually evidence does not support you view, it's no big deal just don't accept the evidence, pretend it is all just opinion.

I've worked in sales in the past, and every single successful sales-person I've met has had the same personality. Trump really isn't out-of-the-ordinary, but nor is he an outright evil. He'll say whatever it takes to meet his target (sales or otherwise).
It's ridiculous that half of voters got duped by him. I bet they're the types who are equally gullible when trying to buy a second-hand Toyota. But I still reckon that this presidency will make them more skeptical of the bluster of the American right-wing, and less accepting of the exceptionalism that makes them think that all they need is a hard-man to lead the country.

The small problem being that a lot of the type of facts she's disputing on any given day are glaringly self-evident.
On the one hand you have FBI statistics. On the other you have one person's word with zero proof or data to back it up. Not that hard to pick one, is it?
Sort of reminded of that time many years ago I was watching C-SPAN and they were covering a 9-1-1 Conspiracy Conference. They had a Q&A with a panel that included the guy who did Loose Change, and many others involved in the early building of that story. At one point this fat, greasy, whiney guy stands up and asks the panel what he should do when confronted by those who present evidence that does not support the conspiracy theory, how does he refute that evidence. The answer he got was of course he should just ignore that evidence because "their truth" was too important to be sidetracked by evidence that might point to other explanations.
Seems as if this isn't attracting a lot of attention. I actually am under the impression that Trumpites won't bother anyway. I'm just perplexed that 'etsblishment' Republicans and Democrats don't seem to bother - in public at least.

It was a protest vote against these people and Trump was the best way to tell them to FO as he campaigned on this message even if he will not follow through on it.
It is the opening of many peoples eyes to the control this group have on the perceived narrative that is the true victory of this election and hopefully the first steps on the path to true freedom and liberty have been taken.

Not really. It's just a group who feel marginalised and out of power themselves trying to seize that very power you speak of. It has feck all to do with liberty or freedom...it's all about trying to gain power in any way possible, and Trump voters managed that.
Do you think Trump would be adhering to the liberty of American voters by punishing them for burning the flag, for example? Surely that's rather illiberal? Freedom of expression, after all. And how about banning Muslims? Surely a free, liberal country allows people to practice whichever religion they wish, as long as they do not commit criminal acts while following it?
