The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Bill Maher had Ralph Reed on last night blowing smoke up everyone's ass about religious persecution, that Trump is a great person when you get to know him, blah blah blah. Can't see the forest for the trees, can't smell your own shit on your knees.

I'll post the vid in the proper thread.

Anybody see the Joe Rogan podcast the other day? Some good stuff on the Trump/Russia thing.

Shapiro's okay. I'm not entirely sure how much I agree or disagree with him on, but he definitely does a good job of exposing a lot of nonsense. There are too many arguments fueled by emotions and his shtick is essentially showing them for what they are. I genuinely think it's a shame that he's targeted as if he's another Milo, when in reality he's far better if you're actually looking to talk about politics.

Senator Coons and Jeff Greenfield on Smercornish not impressed at all with the sensationalising media coverage of the Russia news including the news of the grand jury.

Both mention that the administration is getting stuff done which people seem to be barely focusing on, such as appointing conservative judiciary, which will change the leanings of the courts for decades to come.

Coons seems to be having a dig at some of this fellow Democrats by implying they're too focused on the Russia stuff. Says that the average American priorities are things like the economy and healthcare.

There needs to be an online site that gathers all of Trump's past tweets against Obama/others that directly contradict his current acts/tweets.

Isn't that just a huge waste of time? Everyone knows he contradicts himself all the time, and evidently it doesn't make any real difference...what's the point in expending more energy collating and analysing it?

Many in Congress have realised what a danger Trump is to the Republic.
Mueller is the weapon that will be used to destroy him.

Who knows how much damage he has already done by selling out to the Russians.
I'm more and more coming around to the idea that he didn't sell out to the Russians, in part because they know better than to expose themselves to the risks of their maneuvers being exposed by an incompetent fool. They are quite experienced at this game, after all.

Not saying they didn't play a part....I am just surmising they played Trump with sparse awareness on his end. Some of his more competent subordinates are more likely to be complicit.

I can't listen to anything Ben Shapiro says, he's a complete bell end.

If you ever see Ben Shapiro, just run.

I like him anyway. Don't agree with everything, but he always comes across well.

Where? He comes across as a complete bell end. He's just another provocateur who hides behind intellectualism but the core of everything he says is 'the left the left, the left, coming from the left, from the left, left left left left' while having some pretty stupid views on trans and on Palestine. Not to mention deliberately trying to wind up a trans person on TV because he gets his giggles from pissing people off rather than actually having a meaningful debate about anything. His views aren't as extreme as Milo but he's in the same vein or saying something controversial or deliberately provocative and then sitting there and smirking while the other person gets flustered. That's his aim, not meaningful discourse, not change on any issue, just smirking at the reaction he gets when he prods at people which is exactly what Milo does.

We are talking about global power.

The United States is the most powerful empire in human history. It may well be the last one. The Russians will do whatever they can to diminish this reality.
This clown needs to be removed from the equation ASAP and I believe Congress and Mueller will do that.
Then we need to contain Putin.

Why do you want to maintain an empire?

I wouldn't say its an empire. Just the most powerful state.

This isn't a fair comparison. Whilst he certainly does provoke 'the left', he also makes the distinction between them and 'liberals' because he acknowledges that people from the left side of the political spectrum are capable of engaging in meaningful discourse. With regards to the former group, even if he is provoking them, it doesn't necessarily mean that he isn't making some good points, because he certainly does.

I think he does want to engage in meaningful discourse, I think he's far from a professional provocateur. Milo's YouTube compilations are decent, but beyond that he doesn't make sense politically if you ask me. I wouldn't vote for him if he ran for anything. Shapiro I would, I think he makes a lot of sense on a lot of issues.

Anyone calling anything Milo does "decent" has already flopped it. Both of them are smart people who try and manipulate others through bullshit. Fact is Milo will do anything for a reaction.

Flopped it?

They're funny videos, nothing more.

Because I laughed at something you didn't laugh at?

This is the left in a nutshell.

And here we have the right in a nutshell, happy to laugh at others, unable to take a bit of a joke aimed at them.

Snowflake.

Milo went around saying 'lesbians don't exist'. He never made any pretence at a desire to be taken seriously. He was probably bright enough, had he taken that path, but he preferred attention.

No, that's a retarded deflection tactic used all the time these days and it needs calling out for the bullshit that it is. Either you have an IQ of 10, or you're damn well smart enough to know that the reason he said that was not because you laughed at something he didn't laugh at but you just don't want to have the discussion and so reduce it to something stupid hoping it makes the other person look worse. Which is it?

Saying I'm a bad person for laughing at something would be exactly the sort of daft thing an SJW would come out with.

I don't have time to look at Milo videos on Youtube as I have better things to do with my life, so I'll take your word for it. I read about his band of charlatans targeting victims with abuse on Twitter and it wasn't funny. That's all I know about him.

He thinks that older men should be allowed to feck 13 year old boys. The guy is just hilarious, what a decent person. He thinks that being gay is a choice, despite him being gay himself and believes that being transexual is a brain disease. Infact he once said "Never feel bad for mocking a transgender person. It is our job to point out their absurdity, to not make the problem worse by pretending they are normal". I'm telling you, the guy is hilarious. /s

Yeah I heard about that too. Abuse like that is just wrong.

TBF there are points when he can make you laugh- for example talking about his future supporters before gamergate got them together.
