I'm not going to get into a debate about the intelligence of people who voted for Trump.
What I will say, is the people who still support him and think he's doing a good job need to have their intelligence questioned.

66% of Trump supporters earn more than 50k a year. They voted correctly in selfish material terms.
The old myth. Two thirds of Trump voters have higher than median income and among college educated whites Trump had more support than Clinton. Your conclusion would have to be that white people are stupid.
It holds true, however, that he had an overwhelming majority amongst poor whites with no college degree.
It's fair to say the issue is more complicated than 'Trump voter is dumber than average', but also mostly true that among a large section of his voters there is a hostility towards higher education and intellectualism.

Oh I'm firmly in the 'he's guilty' camp but I do wonder just how involved Trump himself will eventually turn out to be. Guaranteed he's throwing everyone under the bus before it even touches him and I wouldn't be surprised if he lasts til 2020 trying to outrun it.
