It's clearly going to backfire though.
Leanne finds out that no kills happens. She says she told Charlotte, Jake and Frankie that she had the shield. Freddie will then realise (maybe not right away as he's a bit slow) that he's been stitched up and will immediately turn on Charlotte which will look incredibly weird. As soon as he's caught they'll all then think "why did he turn like that on Charlotte".
Also Freddie is an absolute idiot thinking Charlotte is going to keep him alive and win together.
Voting off traitors serves absolutely no purpose in this game.
The recruit and murder rule is ridiculous. There should be some disadvantage to the traitors when one of them gets fecking mirdered.

I agree but it does still kind of work. It’s likely that this time there will only be one traitor in the end game, as Freddie is getting binned tomorrow 100% and there will be no recruitment.
Why would Leanne tell Freddie that though? It's more likely she wont say anything if at all until the roundtable when they have all decided to banish him

A bit like Season 1 when the last recruited traitor knew he was only chosen as a scapegoat and threw the other traitor under the bus as a final gift. Probably why they changed the rules for the final.
I mean they have yet to work out the last people in for breakfast are always the people the traitors discussed murdering.

Yeah, it felt like Charlotte was gonna coast there, so adding another traitor felt unnecessary, but as said, her strategy could backfire. Freddie has to be incredibly daft not to think with his name being thrown around that this won't be turned on him.
Are you kidding? Remember when that Irish chick got a recruitment and she declined? That day Leanne wouldn't shut up because she felt she'd been targetted and she had a shield. If no kill occurs because Freddie went for Leanne she will immediately yell about it with a "I got you!!" type line. She can't help it, it's just her character and nature.
I like that all of Joes theories are just based upon a narrative he has decided.

The twinkle in the eyes at the first finished me on him. He kept on about that for ages. I've never seen stupidity like the things these faithfuls have been coming out with.

In fairness Minah was too trusting of Charlotte, and Charlotte, in retrospect was a dangerous pick just because she'd sailed through her bit of difficulty and seemed one of the most trusted people in there.
I liked Minah, but she did herself in, in the end. It also sounds, from some of the comments in the show about her, that she was perhaps too involved in things that were going on, and she couldn't help herself with the task on tonight's episode. I imagine that must be a difficult balance to strike, between inserting yourself too much but also not wanting to appear to be backseating too much

Am I the only who thinks Minah took liberties saying she was traitor from the start? Could be a small clue and can see others have jumped on it. Of course they have used it to blame the guy who is well spoken and has brain cells (which means he will be dead very soon).
Joe actually seems decent on uncloaked, so it might have been editing that made him come across like an absolute melt.

I liked Minah but now with hindsight, she wasn't really a great traitor was she. And I don't just mean since she recruited Charlotte either. For the first two thirds of the show, she didn't actually have to do much. When there's 15+ people, it's easier to blend in a little bit. Linda and Armani made themselves easy targets.
When it came down to it, and moves had to be made, she didn't and Charlotte did. Maybe she got a bit complacent having Linda as a traitor for so long.

Rules definitely need looking at as it’s pretty much pointless catching a traitor if you’re a faithful, unless you know you’re likely to be recruited.
The only way I can think is if she manages to convince Freddie she did it to try pin it on Alexander but that's a stretch after her hiding it from him.

Get the impression Freddie is way too naive to realise Charlotte is going to throw him under the bus. But maybe they’re editing out how he really feels to make it a surprise if he goes for her.

Jesus this show annoys me. I know it's called The Traitors but it's so obvious they want a traitors win every time with how much they can recruit. Makes the whole game pointless and there should be proper plans in place if all traitors die early.
What I think they should do is double the prize, if all traitors are voted out every faithful remaining gets an equal share of half the money won to that point. Then depending on how many are left a new traitor or two gets picked again like in the first episode. Then play on with the remainder of the money up for grabs.

They could also just allow for an all faithful final and stop the silly forced recruitment. Don't know why traitors have to be in there. The faithful would have no idea if there are any left and it'd still be good to watch.
The recruitment doesn’t make the game pointless. It makes Traitors act in self-interest which is the point of the game. If the faithful catch a traitor and it gets down to one, then the traitor then HAS to recruit, which weakens the traitors as they may not want to recruit, and so have to build the trust all over again with someone else and may have done better on their own. For example, Minah had to recruit Charlotte as the faithful managed to catch Linda, but Charlotte outsmarted her and sealed her fate. The same way in the last series when Harry recruited after Paul left, he admitted he didn’t trust anyone, so used it to his advantage to pick traitors that he could deliberately throw under the bus, as Charlotte is doing now. The recruitment rule forces them to do this otherwise Harry could've done nothing stayed undetected for the whole series, but instead had to use the recruitments to survive.
Also, it’s always to the advantage of the faithful when traitors get banished as it’s a game of survival and anybody leaving gets you closer to the end.
There is obviously a bit of having to get 12 episodes out of a series, rather than having all the traitors caught immediately and everyone knows the faithful are going to win in the end, but I don’t agree it makes the games pointless. It makes it more interesting.
One thing I don't like about the recruitment is that when they leave they don't reveal that they were recruited and when. For example, Freddie is 100% going tonight which will make Jake say "I knew there was a male traitor!" when actually there's he was never a traitor, nor was any male until last night. That's stupid.
