Television The Traitors (BBC) | Series 3 now airing. If you watch episodes on the iPlayer that haven't aired on the BBC television, put discussion in spoilers

Predictions are:

- Charlotte reveals to Francesca she’s a traitor (obviously)
- Francesca tells everyone, and they buy it given Freddie’s vote
- Charlotte nonetheless pleads her case that she’s faithful and this is a set up
- The other players are a little suspicious given they probably trusted Charlotte more before this, but nonetheless vote Charlotte out, but she doesn’t reveal her identity
- In the endgame, they then vote Alexander out as Leanne still thinks he’s a traitor (she may change her mind after the Charlotte thing but I doubt it) and the others don’t trust him either
- It’s down to Jake, Leanne and Francesca. Just to be safe, and because they still don’t know whether Alexander or Charlotte was a faithful, they vote out Francesca in case Charlotte’s set up theory was right
- Jake and Leanne win.
Predictable but still great TV.

Leanne was awful from the very start, so her winning really does a bit a downer on this.

They didn't even care they banished faithfuls and just acted out of pure greed. Terrible result the dumbest wins

Seer stuff ruined the ending, greed ruined the ending too, but happy Charlotte didn't win.

She was fantastic tbf, but she did minah dirty and that was unforgivable.

Ended like I expected. Just with Frankie switched with Alexander. Different order but same outcome.

Would’ve just been the same ending as last year without it though. Even more boring as nobody suspected Charlotte. Charlotte was screwed by producers though.
Well with Freddie voting for her, he did put a bit of doubt on her.

Seer definitely fecked Charlotte over

Them not saying if they were traitor or not fecked over Frankie and Alexander

With the rule change the only way to maximise the possibility of faithful winning (and a byproduct of that increasing the share) is vote everyone out until there's 2 left. I think it'll be like that for every series from now and not sure how they can remedy that.

Leeann voting Frankie out after that heart to heart they had was absolutely beautiful.

Delighted that she won.

Worst ending to a series so far and infinitely predictable after the seer nonsense.

To be honest, most endings of the show are a bit of a damp squib. The only satisfying ones are where a traitor that had played well for a decent chunk of time secured the result their work has earned. As far as I'm aware, there's yet to be an ending across any version of the show where a winning faithful team has earned the win, rather than them just happening to be the last ones around.

Should’ve just been ended once there were no more traitors left. Ridiculous having 4 faithful left since they’re always just gonna vote each other off.

Wanted Alexander to win as he was by far the most likeable character but glad Jake got some money. Leanne might not be the most likeable but she at least worked things out.

Fair point tbh.

Object of the game is to get rid of the Traitors. Which they successfully did, so should have been split between the remaining faithful.

Oh well. This was more entertaining so feck em.

I was rooting for Jas last year as he was a great faithful, but you couldn't begrudge Harry the win, after he had played a blinder throughout the series. Not knowing which way Mollie was going to go made for great TV too.

Tonight, of the back of the seer power, went the way most in this thread were predicting. There felt like zero suspense around the fire pit. Jake played a solid game, so pleased for him, but couldn't stand Leanne.

So if they keep the rules the same won't they always vote down to 2?

I think the only way for the finale to end with more than 2 players in future series is if they change the approach to be like Werewolf/Mafia. If all the traitors are banished at the end game before the number of traitors is equal to the number of faithful, the faithful win. If the number of traitors is equal to the number of faithful, the traitors win.

That would also incentivise the traitors working together at the end rather than throwing each other under the bus as there's a greater chance of winning the jackpot as a team than solo. They would need to cap the maximum number of recruits though.

Alexander entered with suspicion as one of two new players, he was the only survivor of the deathmatch, and then he had the Leanne murder pinned on either him or Freddie. He survived all of that and then they just voted him out for nothing and to win more money.

Alexander trying to win Frankie the seer power should have been enough for it to be obvious that he wasn't a traitor, but I guess not.

I think it’s unfair to call Leanne and Jake greedy at the end seeing as Frankie and Alexander both went to vote again instead of ending it too. They all wanted to vote more off to get more money.

But that’s why it’s a silly rule I think? It should just end once they get all traitors

I think the final prize pot should half for every faithful they banish from the final 4… so there’s a trade off and a cost for wrongly banishing a faithful.
