are they not allowed to pass like in rugby? (not that i understand rugby much either)
My favourite team in the final always loses. And to be honest, I can't see the Saints coming from 3-0 down to win this.
But it's not a game of 2x45, it's a game of separate plays. You can't compare it to football.
Almunia (og) Rooney and Park
Let it go, they think they're funny.
The Noggie pundits are saying that there have never been a team in a Superbowl to come back from 10 points behind to win the game.
Maybe it's all over?
When did they get another point?
I'm becoming a bit disillusioned with sports.
Redskins, Jan 88, against Denver, were down 10-0 when the second quarter began. They would lead 35-10 at half-time on their way to a 42-10 win.
It's 10-0.
Thing is, if this game wasn't so ridiculous, we wouldn't be constantly posting ....but it's so incredibly ridiculous, and yet so incredibly popular in one singular country, that that in itself makes it hilarious and a gold mine of comedy.
Basketball, now that's actually a sport.
It was 9-0 went to adverts (again) and then was 10-0 when it came back on.

there are way too many breaks in this
Didn't they show the kick?

Like cricket being popular in India and England but mostly viewed as putrid shit elsewhere.
It's funny that you won't find someone like myself in a cricket thread posting shit yet you have to in an American football thread. It's like scousers raiding the United forum.
People on here obviously like the sport and this is for some one of the biggest events of the year, so what is the point of you trying to belittle it? It's quite childish.
Just stay away if you think it's that ridiculous.
'Unnecessary roughness'... my favourite kind of foul. Did anyone else have the game of the same name back in the pre-madden days?
Do you guys get the ridiculous ads from the US or just normal ads?

We don't have adverts on our TV. When it cuts to adds it just goes back to in-studio analysis.
