Forever in the shadows of Arsenal (this season excepted). They just won the North London trophy.

Go home!

Knocked out of Champions League, and Europa. Is finishing second a trophy these days? I'd like Roy Keane's opinion.

This is all cheesy. Spurs are only moving a few meters.

1/4 of the new stadium will be where the old one was. :D

Wish Grinner and Storey were around. They'd have ripped into the second best team in North London.

Have to say, that picture does put into perspective the scale of the jump they are making with their new stadium. No doubt it will be one of the top class in Europe (facilities wise only) for a few years.

Right...

So Matt Le Tissier isn't a Southampton legend, or Gerrard a Liverpool legend?
The word legend is bandied around too easily. Very few of those Spurs players came into the legends category. Le-Tiss was a great player hardly a legend. Slippy has won more trophies on his own than Spurs over the last few decades. He also captained England if that counts.

Spurs fans remind me how many times you've finished above perennial bottlers Arsenal during the Premier league era?

As for Pochettino, he gave no assurances of his future in the interview on tv just earlier, he is the most important person at the club, they have to try and keep him at all costs but if Barcelona come in for him he can't refuse them.

He said quite recently that he could never join Barca out of loyalty to Espanyol. Granted, if the Madrid job ever came up for him though then it's more than likely he'd be off.

Just a bit of banter. They're acting as if they've won the treble.

Seems it's working.

Nah we aren't, we are just saying goodbye to our stadium which holds lots of memories for us. We are happy with things but know we need to improve. Some of your 'banter' is a tad ridiculous.

You can always ignore my posts. I don't force you to read. Just a few posts back you said I didn't have to watch your cheesy demolition of stadium celebrations. Same logic applies.

Edgar Davids. Spurs legend.

Yeah, that was a bit bizarre.
I mean, several of the others, even though some were very limited skill wise to be fair, are actual legends in the club. The likes of Justin Edinburgh & Paul Stewart for instance. Davids, being at the club for 2 years, injured half the time, and not a standout when he did play doesn`t qualify.

Klinsmann, Lineker & Gascoigne should have been there though...

Congratulations to Spurs on claiming the "we beat United" trophy. Celebrated with such heart and passion by the Spurs faithful to, almost brought a tear to my eye.

Anyway, we'll be back to reclaim said trophy next season so don't get to attached.

The celebrations were nothing to do with beating United lol.

That's a mod?!

Christ.

Sultan is one of the best members in the forum. And he's great in rl as well. Has helped plenty of United fans. It's just banter like he said. Take it easy mate.

Linekar is a Leicester guy. I thought Spurs fans hated Barbatov for jilting them in favour of United?

Hurt at the time yeah but wouldn't say I hated him, still one of the most entertaining players I've seen in my lifetime. He has been back at the club on a few occasions for training etc.
