Newcastle's current manager is coming to terms with his setup. The plucky Irishman is bringing his own style, and accent, to the club. "Yera lik we are doing well in training lik" was the interpretation of what he may have actually said. Devine comes from a line of success with local club Cobh Ramblers as a kid, and he also managed a local under 14 outfit, "They were shite, if they gave up the fags they would have being daaaaaaaacent."
Devine is aiming for a top 10 finish in his first year at the helm, and after an initial culling of the squad, he now aims to build the squad up with youth. "Ya I shipped out some langers alright lik, I couldnt stand the sight of Colccini's head, so he had to go. He also barely understood English, let alone Geordie and my Cork one lik. He also called Patricks Day "Patty's Day", the fecking spanner."
"Training will be more dynamic, most should enjoy it" he elaborated. "I'm bringing over some of the Kerry footballers to show the lads what you can do if you had determination lik, also the Gooch will drink Nile Ranger under the table, and knock seven types of shite of of him." Nile had a 12 hour loan stint at Blackpool last week, "I dont know what the gimp of a manager was at, fecking sent him back to us lik with no warning. Not a bulls notion what he done."
Time will tell if this will be a success or a disaster, either way we are in for shits and giggles from this lot.....lik.
