Joined division 5 as I thought it would be easy to climb the ranks and build a squad but trionz seems to be a genius and will probably slaughter me when we play :(

Nothing :lol: It's just such a weird-arse game.

Players don't rise/fall based on in-game stuff, so there is no point giving young players game time. Instead the rise/fall based on real life data so the game could come down to "hoarding as many young players as possible".

It does make it rather interesting in that your looking for IRL results, but it's a bit of a headache inducer.

just bought a months gold thingy. €1.50 so now I can rest some players in the Europa cup, otherwise the comp would pick my team! Will use youngster there I'd say.

Goal difference 1+. Still, I've had the majority of my transfers at the club for two days now. Tonight's friendly should give me a good indication of where my squad is at.

Watford boss gone missing

Today's headline news:

While the other managers of the Red Cafe league spent most of the Friday evening at the ground managing their teams, Watford boss Eirik Raude went out to a pub and got drunk. Concern was raised when Eirik Raude didn't show up for Watfords friendly game against Colchester United. 15 minutes prior to kick off, his assistant manager allegedly received a text message stating that Raude had no intention to show up for the game, and an instruction to play all the new signings for 90 minutes no matter what.

Raude was later spotted at a rather shady pub, and people who saw him told us that he was drinking heavily and got really drunk. According to another visitor, Raude were getting into arguments with supporters about the strength of the Watford squad, which eventually led to Raude being thrown out. Around 3am he was seen wandering around the city centre, with a kebab in his hand and his face covered in dressing.

When we contacted the Watford Chairman this morning, he said that "nobody at the club knows his whereabouts". We've been trying to get in touch with Eirik Raude all day, but so far we've had no luck getting a comment.

Watford are said to be in negotiations for seven new players this morning, which can only be proof that Eirik Raude is taking the concerns of the supporters into consideration.
